Michael Velasco Floresca II

Michael was born into a Navy family in Yokusuka, Japan on May 20, 1980. After living two years in Japan, they were stationed at NAS Whidbey Island, in Washington. In 1986 they moved to NAS Adak, Alaska where Michael attended Ann C. Stevens Elementary School. And in 1989 they moved to San Diego, CA where his dad was stationed at and retired from NAS Miramar. Michael graduated from Mira Mesa High School, then went on to graduate in 2009 from San Diego State University. Michael purchased his first home in North Las Vegas and moved there in 2015 where he resided until his passing.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Michael A. Floresca. He is survived by his mother Magdalena Floresca, sister Michelle Vergara, brother in law, Andrew Vergara, and nieces Jasmine, Julia, Jaclyn, and Joy. Michael will be deeply missed by his family.

A visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121. Funeral from12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and graveside service will occur 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
