Thank you Uncle Mike for being a part of our lives and a very significant part of our family. Thank you for finding my Tia Chela and falling in love with her. I know you brought her many, many memories and moments of laughter and that she became the kind of mother and Tia she is because of you. Thank you for the gift of raising such strong, confident, loving, and generous girls who I get to call my cousins and best friends. Thank you for some of the fondest memories of my childhood! You were always so funny, so loving, always asking about my dad and my other family which let me know you cared. You seemed to love and accept and advocate for understanding others no matter what. I will never forget your laughter or those amazing hugs, or your hilarious jokes. Every memory of you evokes a giggle and a smile. :) If there is one word that describes my Uncle Mike, it is LOVE. There is not enough we could say about how great you were (ARE). So all there is left to say is THANK YOU. We Love You. So much. <3

Mikey I will never forget the look on your face when you had gotten all cleaned up to go on a date, you picked up Fred to say goodbye and he projected spit up all down the front of you, you laughed, smiled and said ( its ok i will just go take a quick shower ). I will never forget how you were always there for me when i was going through rough times, you definitely had a huge heart and cared about everybody. Now you will be with your Mom and Dad again. I am so sorry for your loss Chela, i remember the days at Kearny High when we sat in your Nova and you were soooo in love with Mikey.

Uncle Mikey, from my earliest memories of you to my latest ones, I never remember seeing you annoyed, complaining, or angry. You were a person that I always associated with a vibrant energy. Whenever I would see you at gatherings, you were always so lively and charismatic that you would make everyone feel good just by being around you. We are lucky that you were a part of our lives. You demonstrated how caring we should be to one another through your kindness and you showed us how optimistic we should be by your positive outlook on life. You wore a smile on your face even when times were rough which demonstrated how resilient you were. Your big beautiful heart and lovely smile will remain in my memory and in the memories of others that were lucky enough to have you as a part of their lives. Rest in peace Uncle Mikey, I love you.

Uncle Mike, you were the coolest uncle ever. You were the type of person that lit up any room you walked into. That is such a rare quality and you had it. You were the funniest, most caring person I can think of. Family was so important to you and you lived for your family. I will always remember how beautiful you made me feel since I was a child. Always telling me how beautiful I was, building up my self esteem without knowing it. I have faith in the Lord that we will me again. Please come visit us in our dreams from time to time.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
- John 5:24

With Love,

Alexandra
