January 12, 1946 – August 8, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mildred T. Caballes, who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 80.
Mildred was born in Manila, Philippines, on January 12, 1946, to Felino and Lourdes Timbol. She was raised in San Juan, Rizal, where she grew up surrounded by family and began the journey that would eventually lead her to a beautiful life in San Diego.
She studied and worked in accounting before becoming an entrepreneur with her husband, Rey. Together, they worked hard, built a life, and created a family that meant everything to them. Through the years, Mildred was proud of all that they accomplished together.
A woman of strong faith, Mildred’s relationship with God was an important part of her life. She was devoted to her church community and found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving others. Her faith was reflected not only in her devotion to her church but also in the way she lived through her generosity, compassion, kindness, and willingness to care for those around her.
Mildred became a long-time and very proud resident of San Diego, California, which she was grateful to call home. She was known for her generous heart and genuine concern for others. She had a special gift for making people feel welcomed and cared for. Giving to others came naturally to her, and her kindness touched many lives.
Mildred also had a love for travel and adventure. She enjoyed organizing tour groups and traveling with her husband, Rey, several times a year. She looked forward to discovering new places and creating memories along the way.
Family was the center of Mildred’s life. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Rey; her son, Ashley; her daughter, Milicent; her beloved granddaughters, Sophie, Marti, and Eloise and her sisters, Lya, Daisy, and Jane. She will also be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Carmina and son-in-law, Rommel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Felino and Lourdes Timbol, and her brothers, Felino, Edgar, and Raul.
Rest peacefully, Mom. You are home with the Lord, and you will forever be loved, remembered, and cherished.
