Minda Mambatac SOQUITA, age 80, of San Diego, California passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 with her family members by her side. Minda was born on December 28, 1940 in Bago City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.

Minda was predeceased by her father Cornelio Mambatac and mother Hospecia Soquita Mambatac, sisters Haydee Miravalles and Pilipinas Cataluna, and brother Merlin Mambatac.

Minda is survived by daughter Melissa Kramer and husband Keith Kramer, daughter Isobel Ogo and husband Gil Ogo and her four grandchildren Justin, Ashley, Jessica, and Giselle. She is also survived by sister Karen Gabaya, and nieces Lytha Yepes and Lyra Garcia.

Minda worked over 30 years at the US Postal Service where she retired in 2009. Her passions included dancing, eating out, reading, watching TFC, telling old stories (she had the best memory!), going to the casino, and shopping. She was the most hardworking and giving person and made sure we were always taken care of. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Minda will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.

A funeral service will occur Friday, June 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.

A graveside service and burial will occur Friday, June 18, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.
