Mingli Deng, 86, passed peacefully on February 12, 2026. Born in Xi’an, China, she worked as a librarian and later joined a senior modeling team. She shared 60 devoted years of marriage with her husband, Ruguang.
Mingli loved dancing, shopping, and cooking meals that brought her family together. In her later years in San Diego, she cherished time with loved ones. She is survived by her daughter Yi; granddaughter Rachel and grandson-in-law Chris; and great-granddaughter Kaia. Her family finds comfort knowing she has reunited with her husband.
A committal and burial service will be held at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, located at 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121, United States. The service is scheduled for February 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
