Monica Montez, age 61, of San Diego, California passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022. Monica was born December 16, 1960 in San Diego, California to Anna Marie Montez and Manuel Montez.

Monica is survived by her daughter Jennifer Ann Cook (Henry Raymundo Guerrero); and her daughter Crystal Marie Rhodes (Andrew Rhodes); her father Manuel Montez; her sister Catherine Funk (Daniel Funk), her sister Maria Byrne and her brother Thomas Mitchell; her grandson Alex Rhodes, her grandson Aidan Rhodes and her fiance Michael Raymond Cote.

Monica was preceded in death by her mother Anna Marie Montez.

A funeral service for Monica will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Goodbody Mortuary, 5027 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115.
