Ms. Amstadt was my English teacher when I was a senior at KHS. I remember her very gentle demeanor. She was one of the nicest teachers I've had in high school. I will cherish the memories I had in her class.

Hi MOM, I think of you and miss you so much. I bought a journal that will send messages to you, on a beam of light to heaven. Thank you for reading to my students monthly, for 18 years at Crown Point and Bay Park Elementary. Also, for supporting me as a 30 year teacher in SDUSD. You were an awesome grandma to Rhonda and always had happy thoughts to share.

I'm so sorry. Nancy traveled with me on one of my academic tours to Europe many years ago. She was a lovely, intelligent lady whose gently inquisitive presence I valued. I believe that we saw each other but once or twice in the years since, but what a great pleasure to have known her. I know how she will be missed by Erv, her children, and all who loved her. She must have been a wonderful teacher, and no doubt many of her students will remember her always.
