Nenita Serrano Yambao was born in Manila, Philippines to Amparo Serrano and Reynaldo Yambao. She was the eldest of four siblings. She worked for La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, where she later retired after 20 years of service. She loved cooking, playing slot machines, and shopping – she can shop from sunrise to sunset.
Because of her mother-like traits and unconditional love and care, she was given the nickname “Nanay” from her nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.
Nenita passed away peacefully at Sharp Coronado Facility and is now united with the love of her life, Cesar, who passed away while working as a field engineer in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Nenita is survived by her siblings Violeta, Yolanda, Chito and their families. As well as her cousin, Socorro, whom she embraced as her own child. She is preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Abigail.
