Thank you for years of treasured memories and love. I wouldn't be the man I am today without you. I think about you every day, and appreciate what you made possible. It's difficult to face the fact that I've lost my greatest supporter in life, but I'll always remember your advice and carry it along with me. You will live on through your family and friends. You were one very tough, brave, strong, inspiring woman and no words will describe how much we'll all miss you! At every family gathering, I would always see the biggest smile on your face and soon after start to sing / dance away. One of the best memories was having the karaoke machine. The moment it came to your house, the music was hopping along with the whole family singing / dancing away to the songs. All the memories we created I'll cherish forever and live by what you said "live.laugh.love." Heaven has gained an amazing angel and I know you're smiling down on all of us and saying don't worry about me. I love you and we'll meet again one day❣

Norine, We had a great childhood as cousins and friends with Danita.  We were the 3 amigos. It brings me such sadness to see you go so early in your life and I actually do not feel it's real. I thank you for reconnecting with me over the past few years and letting me know your family more. They are great, which I wouldn't expect anything less from you of course! Your short time on earth was a fulfilled of a life of love and happiness and not many people can say the same. It was a pleasure to have Aunt Norine a part of my life. She was always full of life, jokes and of course smile. Unfortunately she was taken away from us too soon. Knowing Aunt Norine, she would have wanted us not to be sad but, to remember the good times. Like the time where Aunt Norine and I  went to a river up in Rochester New York and laughed at when people fell on their butts... While we were trying not to fall as well. To my wonderful aunt Norine, I will miss you so much. You were such a strong woman and a wonderful person to be around . Although our hearts are broken, we know that God took the best. I will hold you close in memory, and forever in my heart.

I wanted to surprise you with a visit. I waited too long. I thought there would always be a tomorrow even though I know, "no one is promised a tomorrow." Such a hard lesson to learn. Rest in peace Norine. Once a Pointer, Always a Pointer...on earth and in Heaven.

Sweet sister in law Norine! Your departure from this earth was too soon and you will be greatly missed. This past week we got to spend time together with family and friends to celebrate your amazing life! Although we are all very heart broken, we are also amazingly blessed to have known you. The lessons that you have taught us through the way you lived your life is more than anyone can ask for. You are a true example of strength and courage. Your love for family has challenged all of us to do the same. We take comfort that you are at rest and with the Lord. I know that we will all be together again someday. Till then we will follow through with your wish, for all to "Live, Love and Laugh."

Norine,   You will forever live in my heart. You blessed me with 25 years of marriage and two beautiful children that will make you proud. There is always or person in this world that can change your life and that one person was my aunt norine. I may not have seen her as much as I wanted to but she truly inspired me to do my best every day and to always keep my head held high no matter what life threw my way. She was the toughest person I knew. She went through a lot and she said it herself; people say everything will be okay but then reality kicks in and you realize that cancer truly sucks. But no matter what people said, she would go through with it and just hoped for the best. No one pushed her around and no one could tell her it would never work or they can't do anything to help. She would find a way because she was a fighter. Not only was she tough, but she was caring, funny, full of life and the best Godmother anyone could ask for. I may not have told her as much as I should have, but u loved her so so much. But I know I'll see her again one day and that's when I can make up all the promises I made. You are now my guardian angel Aunt Norine and the best one out there. I love and miss you that words can't even describe. You'll always be my missing piece... I love you to the moon and back. RIP Aunt Norine❤

 I keep waiting for the phone to ring or receive a text than reality hits me that you have been taken from us. It is much to soon. You had plans we all had plans. Your smiling face, warm gestures and BIG heart will always be in my thoughts. So with a heavy heart I will let you go to heaven to be with Dad (Manuel G. Balelo), the Lord and all family members taken before you. Forever in my heart you will be loved and missed.

When you move away from a tight neighborhood, somehow everyone stays the same in your mind. We had no idea Norinne was having a hard time. She always had a smile and a giggle to share. We are saddened by her passing and praying that Louis and the kids find a way to love each other even more. God bless and hold all of you in His tender hands.

We are broken hearted  and words can not heal the pain of losing Norine. Although she was taken from us much to soon she left us with her love and good humor and she touched so many lives. There are no words to describe how shocking it was to hear of Norine's passing. We were classmates at Point Loma High School. We loved catching up whenever we saw each during Festa. It didn't matter how much time had passed, she always greeted me with warmth and friendship. She was truly genuine and loving. She will be greatly missed. My most sincere condolences to all of you during this sad and difficult time.
