Strickland, Peggy Ann, 87, of Del Mar, CA passed away July 24, 2026, after a long illness. Formerly Peggy Stanton Head, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Chuck Strickland, age 86, the couple had 6 children, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Born in Ft. Worth Texas, she was divorced in the early 1970's and moved to California after being transferred to the General Dynamics San Diego Division as Executive Secretary to the Vice President of the Systems Technology Division. A position she kept until her marriage in 1976 to her husband Chuck.
They each brought to the marriage their 3 children and combined their families to raise all six children, who along with 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren now live across the country. Peggy loved traveling with her husband Chuck, cooking, and spending time with her many children and grandchildren.
