Dear Bolano Family,

I always remember Uncle Richard as a humble, kind, and funny man.  He is certainly one of my favorite uncles.  My memory is actually a recent one where I was able to see him this past summer.  Perse told me of Francesca’s birthday party on a Sunday. The birthday party was also a mini reunion with family that I have not seen in many years.  We were vacationing from Guam and supposed to be visiting Ashley in Seattle. I made changes to our trip to see Uncle Richard and the family.  It was heartwarming to celebrate with him and he actually remembered me.  I think part of a person’s legacy is their family.  Uncle Richard, Auntie Emma, Perse, Inday, and Baby have always been a very close-knit and supportive family.  That has only grown with Lovely, Lance, Troy, and Francesca. Uncle Richard leaves a proud legacy. 
Deepest condolences to Auntie Emma, Perse, Inday, Baby, Lovely, Lance, Troy, and Francesca. May you feel God's grace and mercy, knowing that your husband/father/grandfather is now in the loving arms of God.

Dear Auntie Emma,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Richard.  Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I am so fortunate to have the chance to see him when I visited last June. That visit will remain in my heart forever. 
Uncle Richard has always been kind to me. He and you took care of me when I was in Manila to study. I couldn't be more grateful.
Auntie Emma, Perse, Inday and Baby, my prayers are with you all. May Uncle Richard's soul rest peacefully in heaven.
