Dear Mary-Pat, Scott and Blair. Please accept my sincere condolences. I am so sad and sorry to learn of Richard’s passing. All of my memories of Richard are such fond ones. He was always easy going, fun and supportive and working at Warner Design in the 90s were great years. I still remember how incredibly proud he was of you all and his admiration and respect for you Mary-Pat was palpable. He never had a bad thing to say about you, on the contrary he couldn’t say enough good things and while it did make an impression then, I’ve come to learn just how special that quality was. 
I do hope that you’re otherwise keeping well and the memory of Richard and the love he bestowed on you all gives you strength.

Richard was kind enough to hire me when I graduated from college, as an intern and then as an employee, in his graphic design firm. I worked with Richard for over 10 years and benefited greatly from his business mentorship and friendship. His sense of humor was always a delight and to  his day I still tell "Richard" jokes from the many bits of wit and humor that he shared with us all at Warner Design. I met Richard when he was in the 11th grade. I have known him since 1965. I am devastated by his loss. Our years together in college and beach is a bond that can’t be broken.

I feel blessed to have known Richard and shared some unforgettable milestones with him.   The marriage of his son and my daughter and the births of our beautiful grandchildren. 
He was a shining light and beamed with pride and love of his wife and family.  
Rest in peace and please continue your beautiful paintings in heaven.
I will be looking skyward!
