Robert K Asui

December 16, 1951 – August 30, 2015

Our brother Robert, better known as Bobby, was born on a quiet December day in 1951. The eldest son of Robert and Verna Asui, Bobby grew up in the Kaimuki, Palolo and Kapahulu areas. He attended three different high schools: St. Louis, Kaimuki, and Kalani.

He worked for most of his life in the construction industry, not only in Hawaii, but also in Washington state and California.  Over the course of his life, Bobby lived in various places, including: Oahu, Maui, Washington state, and both Northern and Southern California.

He is survived by his sister, Renee (Marshall) Kaai, his brother ,Samuel (Julia) Asui, his nieces and nephews, his cousins, and various extended ohana.

We will celebrate Robert’s life on November 28, 2015 at Shriners Beach Club in Waimanalo.

Time:  10 am – 3:00 pm   

Memorial service at 11:00am – followed by the scattering of his ashes.
