Thank you for showing us what real LOVE is and thanks for so many happy moments.

Marti, Mark and Michael we were so sorry to hear the sad news of Gary’s passing.  I remember how he  always loved to participate in St Patrick’s Day to the fullest.  How if you weren’t wearing green for the day he could remedy the situation with his little shamrock ☘️ stamp along with his green ink so that he could stamp you.  He was always a happy, nice guy, a great neighbor and pal.  He will be missed.

Pal is a legend. Many an amazing time at the Pal Dome and beyond. His energy and fun just made it awesome.

Gary was always the life of the party. He was always fun to be around and the entire Xavier crowd loved to be around him. 
He was a true friend and will be missed.  
We will always remember trips to Montgomery Inn and St Pattys day.  And Gary was an awesome father and husband.  We were lucky to know him.

Gary was a lover of life and family. All were welcomed and made to feel like a old friends. Food was shared, drinks poured, and laughter from some really bad jokes could be heard. I have fond memories of the times spent with them. I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared together and the love he had for you.

Going to miss Uncle Gary’s fun loving spirit.  It was always a blast reuniting with this side of the family, and I see a lot of similarities between him and my fiancé - I know that they would have really hit it off if they had the opportunity to chat. Sending my love to the whole family and will be thinking about everyone 💚

Gary is the best Pal one could ever wish for. He was forever thinking about others, whether telling one terrific joke from his encyclopedic knowledge of terrific jokes, or his impish smile, or how can we ever forget Gary saying “Hey Pal”.  What a terrific father to Mark and Michael, raising two great guys;  Mike’s political experience as the The Mayor of Medway and Mark learning payment terms, such as Net Now, for work he performed for us. The love Gary showed to his family was so very evident. My family will always cherish the memory of times spent with Gary, Marti, Mark and Michael. Our hearts are heavy, our eyes are misting, but a smile on our face remembering a great Pal. Our sincerest condolences to Marti and family.

Our deepest sadness on hearing the news of Gary’s passing. He was loved by many and one of the funniest, but kindest people we ever knew. He had a joke for every occasion and more amazingly could remember the punchline! Marti, Mark and Michael....we were sad to hear about Gary's passing.   He was a person who could brighten your day just by being in the room with you and sharing a funny joke or comment.  He will always be in our thoughts and prayers as a forever part of the Waterview Drive gang (and all his Pal friends).  Rest in peace, Gary!

 I didn't know Gary too long but what I learnt very quickly is that his humble  and kind nature was so heart warming. 

His lovely nature is certainly one I will always try and emulate. With his extensive knowledge and experience he welcomed and encouraged me, in my ignorance of business.

His exuberance and enthusiasm was infectious. He had a way of making everyone around him feel good.

Mr. Bockhold was truly one of the most fun, caring, and welcoming people I have ever met. Being a close friend of Mark, I became close to the whole Bockhold family. I have so many fond memories of time spent with Mr. Bockhold. From the family weekends at Xavier University, to trips to Boston, Montreal, and Savannah, Mr. Bockhold would always go above and beyond to make sure people smiled and that everyone had a good time together. He united people, was the life in the room, and made every gathering memorable. He was someone who was instrumental in helping form the amazing bonds with the friends like Mark I have today. He created so many opportunities for us to be together and have fun. I am forever grateful for Mr. Bockhold's generosity, his love of people, his contagious energy, and how he and his family made me feel. Stories and memories of Mr. Bockhold will live forever! Thank you Mr. Bockhold! Love you, Pal!

Gary was one of the coolest people I ever met!!! Always handy with a joke or a smile ! But most importantly Gary was a good solid , loving, honest man! You knew what was important to him , it was never about stuff , he'd rather get a laugh out of you than win a bet!! I'm just so blessed I got to know him and love him! Gary (red dog)  Bockhold was one of a kind, he was always the person at the party that made people laugh, when him and his old buddy Ray  Fussner, that passed some years back, get together, the Lord better be ready for some old stories and some laugh’s from their High School Days and after. Gary was also very good at softball with the rest of his High School Gang.

So sad to hear the news. I met Gary in high school. Oh the stories that I can’t get into.  But they continued after high school. Gary led the reception at Jan and my wedding by playing the kazoo. One of my favorite nights of all time was when he and his brothers came to our house in Michigan for the Bengals first Super Bowl and we hit the hot spots the night before the game. I will always be grateful to Gary for talking me into going to the game without tickets and as he guaranteed we did get into the game.  We went separate ways but by chance we were both in Cincy a few years back and we had a chance to get together. We never got the chance to play the round of golf out in San Diego but getting together for that brief moment was enough. We all will miss him.

Gary was a mentor and best friend while our sons were educated at Xaverian High School in Massachusetts serving community and playing varsity sports. Our relationship continued long after!
His humor and caring attitude was significant and always in all ways an outstanding tribute to his family of Cincinnati, Ohio!
Gary will be keenly missed and with oceans of affection we bid him
farewell as well as fond adieu, until we meet again!
St Patrick's day will never be the same.....Death leaves a heartache that cannot be healed but love leaves the memory no one can steal!

Met Red Dog at Moeller High School.  We shared Sports events, vacations and so many teenage life events.  Always uplifting, quick with a joke.  Condolences to family.





I went to high  school with Gary “Red Dog”.. Also played softball and basketball with him after high school Red Dog was everybody’s friend and the life of any gathering.  Super Bowl trip, Notre Dane football or St Patrick’s day celebrations were made fantastic with Red. He was one of a kind and will be missed. I am sure the party has started in heaven with his arrival.

I didn't know Mr. Bockhold, but I've worked closely as a client of Waterview Corporation with Marti for nearly a decade. During that time I observed how much love and respect Marti had for Gary. All of us at our company are reflecting and praying for peace for the Bockhold family in your time of sorrow. We are so very sorry for your loss!
