Dear Joy,

Bette and I are so sorry to hear the news about Roger.

As you know, Roger and I were friends for many years. We play tennis together, even played in the La Jolla tournament and were finalists.

I was one of the few people who challenged him at squash. He was a very good player and I don’t think I ever beat him.

He taught me a lot about videos and photography - He was a master at Photoshop, and we had several other interests in common as well like bridge.

What was so outstanding about Roger was his sense of humor. His take on things always made you laugh.
He was a good friend and a good man. Knowing Roger for so many years, I can only imagine how happy and interesting your life together was.

He will be sorely missed -

Sincerely,

George and Bette Marks

Thank you for all the memories on the golf course Roger, and a pint or two to follow. Also, thanks for squeezing us in between Tennis, Squash, Handball, Badminton, Swimming, Bridge, etc., and those marvelous vacations you and Joy shared.
