Such a magical presence your Mother had.  All the way from her elegant appearance, to the wonderful offering of her amazing pastries, she embodied such warmth and caring to those fortunate enough to know her. Both you and your sister carry those wonderful attributes to share with your children, family, and friends. Much love goes to you, my friend.

Your mother was the most beautiful and kind person.  She was the first person I worked with at Sundstrand and has always been a close friend. How do I express our sorrow on hearing of the death of Mrs. Horvath?
This woman showed such courage in her life leaving her home in Hungary to come to the U.S.A with her family during the revolution . She was beautiful and intelligent . Her presence radiated Grace & Charm unfortunately qualities that we do not see often enough in our world today. 
Our family will miss you , Mrs. Horvath.

P.S. And those Christmas Eve Parties , The Horvath's home was the place to be for over 40 years!!

The highlight of attending the company Christmas Party each year was a chance to see your mother there and have a good chat.  We met through a mutual friend she had worked with and immediately I was charmed by her warmth and smile.  She was so lovely and beautiful in every way.  Lucky you to have had her as your mother.  She was truly a wonderful lady.

I was truly saddened to hear of your mother's passing.  I have known Rosa since the early 1960s at the company where we both worked.  Rosa was a very conscientous and reliable worker and she got along well with everyone.  It was such a joy to work with her,  She transferred to Turbomach with the start up of that company and remained there until her well deserved retirement. I'll always remember how welcoming your Mother was.  She'd invite us to dinner and our boyfriends too!  She was so beautiful and very classy and, of course, she raised you and you embody all her best traits.  Sorry we'll miss the funeral but we'll be thinking of you dear friend.

A mother's love is eternal.  Hope you find comfort in remembering all the special times you had together and in knowing you will see her again one day in heaven. Rosa came into my life in May 1995 , the first day I moved in as her neighbor on Beagle Street. She arrived at my door with a welcoming plate of delicious lemon bars, a huge smile  and an Hungarian accent that charmed everyone! Rosa and I would talk over the fence almost every morning as we watered and gardened. Her yard was always perfect....as was Rosa's hair and make-up...even at 7am! She attended every political meeting I held at my home and spoke out for the rights of all. After fleeing Hungary, she was not about to let her rights, or anyone else's rights, be trampled on. Our whole neighborhood will miss Rosa, the beautiful red haired lady who walked her dogs morning, noon and night, loved her family and had a warm smile and a greeting for all. We will miss you and remember you always dear friend....David and Eddie
