San Diego
Born in Hungary, and survived World War II and the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Rosa and her husband Ernest (now deceased) settled in San Diego, California in 1957. She deeply touched many lives with her loving nature, charm, beautiful smile, and generosity in donating to many charities. She worked as an executive secretary in aerospace. She was fiercely independent and enjoyed beautiful classical music, gardening, her dog, and baking Hungarian pastries. She survived 18 years after having breast cancer, which metastasized suddenly in the last weeks of her life. In addition to her daughters Rozsa Horvath and Julie Morrell, she is survived by three grandchildren, Chelsea, Melissa, and Sasha.
She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
