To my Suegro Ruben,

I’ll always keep the memories of you during our trip to Vegas for Tia Olivia’s wedding close to my heart. That whole weekend you were so energetic, fun, and happy to see everyone. Seeing you dance and enjoy yourself really showed how much zest you had for life. I know we did not know each other long, but I will always be grateful for how kind and welcoming you were to me. You and Lorena made me feel a part of the family early on. To know your kids is to know how great of a Father you were. Ruben and Melanie are amazing, kind, creative,  funny, and loving people. I really enjoy when something reminds Ruben of a story about you. From his stories it is evident you loved them deeply and worked hard to give your kids the best life. I know you will continue to watch over us and bless us from heaven. You will be deeply missed Señor. Descanse en Paz.

In Orlando Florida, love you and miss you brother.  You went from being my guardian when I was young to now being our angel. Until we meet again, love 💕 you. 

Ruben, growing up you were always caring and giving to me and my family.  Your kind heart and caring personality is a quality that you had and have definitely passed on to both Melanie and Ruben. We appreciate the love and kindness you have shown me and my family over the years, and especially in these past recent times.  Rest in peace and know your memory will live on with our family.

I remember this day like it was yesterday, you wanted so much to walk mom down the aisle on my wedding day. I had not asked because I was afraid it would not be a good idea in your condition. However, this what you wanted and Ruben gets what he wants. 😊
You were both so happy to walk together. Your relationship with mom was like no other, truly a blessing,  gods biggest gift to mom, a son that gives unconditional love and always wanted to be by her side. No one will ever fill your shoes but you set an amazing example for us all. Mom’s favorite and we’ll deserved. With great respect, My hat goes off to you.

You were always there when we needed you. You never said No. You always made a joke out of everything but it made me feel everything was going to be ok, and it was. You said things how they were, no cherry coating, like it or not… one of your best qualities. I always thought it was funny because most people don’t have the courage to be so honest and I am sure you saw some eyebrows raise. 
Your love for all of the family will forever live in our hearts. It will never be a distant memory. We will always remember.

Tio Ruben,
I have many many memories of you and always they are of you being happy and joking around. You always welcomed our family and never did we feel unwelcomed. I am so very grateful to have had you as my uncle, you were definitely a person in my life that taught me what a  loving dad and husband was. I will never forget the time in my life when u guys helped me with my boys… and how much you spoiled Aiden!  I’m sad you are no longer here but God called you home and now you are not in pain. Until we meet again now you can see our loved ones in heaven.  Love you 

My tio Ruben will always be one of those people I will have the fondest memories of. He always treated me like I was one of his own, he always made me laugh, and he always made me feel extra loved. I will always remember him for the wonderful person that he was. The person that always said what everyone else was thinking, the person that made really good banana pudding and skinny pancakes. The person that was always the most kindest and most loving. Rest In Peace Tio, I will miss you so much. ❤️

Ruben I wish I could hug you one more time and tell you thank you for everything and that I love you so much brother. Thank you for taking care of me and always being there for me.
