Ruth Marie Lamp, 88 years old, passed away in her sleep on Saturday September 27, 2014. She was a longtime resident of San Diego. Ruth was born on May 9, 1926 in Milford Massachusetts to Valino and Nadelia Bega. She was the second of three children. The family moved to Crested Butte CO when Ruth was 8 years old where they resided until relocating to San Diego CA in the early 1940s. Ruth met her future husband Warren Lamp shortly after moving to San Diego. They were married 48 years and had two sons, Warren Jr and James. Ruth was a homemaker who loved her family. Many outings included her extended family; her parents and siblings and their spouses and children. Predeceased by both parents, husband Warren (10-10-93), brother Dr. Robert Bega (6-21-99), and sister Dorothy (11-5-2000). Ruth is survived by her sons Warren Jr. (Bobi) and James (Melody), grandsons Michael (Rissa), Andrew, and great granddaughter Aubree.
