Sam Simone Pisciotta

Samuel Simone Pisciotta was born August 29th 1945 in San Diego, California to Margaret Giacalone Pisciotta and Vincenzo Pisciotta. He grew up in the Mission Hills area of San Diego, along with his two Siblings Tony Pisciotta and Rosalyn Guidi. He met his Wife Francesca Vitale in his early 20's who lived directly across the Street; they both Married on May 23rd 1970; both would Celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary in May of 2020. Sam is survived by his Wife Francesca Vitale Pisciotta, 3 children and their Spouses Michael & Tammy, Tony & Tina; & Sam Jr. (deceased); 7 Grandchildren Brennan, Michael Aaron jr., Jarimy, Francesca, Isabella, Nathan, Lance & 1 Great Grandchild born to Brennan Pisciotta; His Brother Tony Pisciotta, Sister Rosalyn Guidi, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was originally employed by NASSCO a ship building Corporation in San Diego, then would become a Superintendent for ARISE Scaffolding Company, Sam enjoyed driving his Chevy Malibu, and working on Cars in his early years, and in his later years would enjoy growing Organic Vegetables at his beautiful home in Escondido. His Wife Fran would become his Primary Care Giver where he received the best "In Home Care" anyone could ever wish to receive, as he struggled with Parkinson's and Cardiovascular Dementia.

,I have many fond memories working with Sammy for over 24 years at Nassco and Arise. In 1976 fresh out of high school I got a job at Nassco and Sammy was my first Foreman. He was a great teacher always cool , calm and collected.
My condolences to his family.
