My dearest Sarina,
I remember the day i first met you;
you were out walking little casey in your apartment complex and you had on the coolest green "Gir" hoodie from the Tv show "Invader Zim." You were one of the first people in my life I had the pleasure of meeting with parents who allowed them to wear "alternative" clothing and hair - the fascination and immediate adoration was unmistakable. Without hesitation, it so happened that my ADHD-ridden eleven year old brain complimented you in such a genuine and effortless way that seemed so foreign to you at the time. I remember how you rejected all of my compliments thereafter about your appearance - even at such a young age, you had no idea how BEAUTIFUL you were, and it broke my heart that you didn't see yourself in the same way i saw you.  This was a common theme that would permeate our friendship through the years. You had no idea, and I wish you had even the slightest one. You were always so beautiful in such a way i could never find the words to describe in person. I know we didn't have the chance to speak too often after i left California in early 2016,  but I never stopped thinking about you.  Thank you for letting me in to your life when you did, Sarina; our friendship is so profoundly special to me. Fly high, my angel.

I’ll never forget how Sarina would take the time to come up to Temecula to hang out with us. Once she came over to my house warming party when I had finally moved out of my horrible roommate situation, and she was so understanding when I would talk to her about it and then it would end up with us sharing a bunch of jokes. And since we rarely saw each other, she brought such excitement and I loved how she would hang out with me on the sidelines and watch everyone play and have a great time. I’ll never forget the kindness and love she gave to all of us and I appreciate Sarina for everything, especially for opening up my world to different perspectives, styles and beautiful new friends. Thank you Sarina, I love you❤️ 

Zen has not gone a night without sleeping with the Spider-Man you made for him, he misses and loves you Auntie Sarina.

Zen misses you and cherishes this Spider-Man that you crocheted for him. You are so talented. He hugs  and kisses it when he misses you. He blows kisses up to you in heaven. He loves you endlessly, Auntie Sarina.

Sarina I love and miss you so much.  I miss your smile and laugh.  All the memories at our house as in covering you up at night, making sure you were good when you were there or all of us going out to eat.  You definitely showed me a love and strength through it all.  God definitely got an amazing angel 

I love E$$ie so much. She has been with me through thick and thin and is such a loyal and good friend. She has taught me so much and has the ability to make me laugh even on the worst of days. I admire her so much because she is such a wonderful person and friend who could do so many things. I loved to hear about the new hobbies she would pick up and how we would learn to do them together. I loved how we could hang out for hours, even if we had nothing to really do but just enjoy each other’s presence. E$$ie is one of a kind and I have never met anyone else that could compare. I will never stop loving her and will forever be missed. 

I’ll be forever grateful that you taught me to not be afraid to be myself and how to find humor in everything. Thank you for giving me some of the best childhood memories and growing up with me, Sarina. 🖤 Still have a special place in my heart and always will, dude.

Hey it’s me ryanna. I love you E$$ie. You will always be my day one and I will be here for your family and friends. I miss our 3am drives to the beach. Or cruising around San Diego wasting gas. Sitting in parking lots just genuinely talking thank you for the best 9 year friendship you really changed my perspective on life. So for you I will live unapologetically till it’s my turn to see you again.  I love you like family and nothing less. You will forever be in my heart. You and your family.  Love ryanna
