

Scott Christopher Lapinski, age 51, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023 at his home in San Diego, California with family by his side. Scott was born to Mark and Jennifer Lapinski on January 21, 1972 in San Diego, California.
Scott was a graduate of Valhalla High School in 1991. He was a great athlete and excelled in football and baseball. He lettered in both varsity sports by his sophomore year. Scott went on to continue his education at San Diego State University in the business department. He was proud to work for Ashton Athletic, the family business. He worked hand in hand with his father, Mark for 22 years and took the business over after his father retired. In 2015 out of his love for golf came Scott’s passion project turned business of Golf Jams Golf Speaker Company where he was the Founder and CEO.
Scott was happiest and most content on the golf course where he would play with his family and close friends. Scott, bother Jeff and Dad would travel to play new courses around the United States and Mexico. Of his favorite places to play were Cabo San Lucas, Palm Springs and New Mexico. He loved making wagers and watching college football with his Dad, Mark. He also had a passion for Rock and Roll Music. He could recite any band and/or lyric new or old.
Scott is survived by his Mother, Jennifer, sister, Lynne Salter and nieces, Reese and Dylan Salter. He is predeceased by father, Mark and brother, Jeff. His kind heart, gentle soul and funny sense of humor will be missed dearly by his family and close friends. His family wants to thank all of his friends who gave him happiness throughout his life.
There will be a Celebration of Scott’s Life at the Signing Hills Golf Resort (El Cajon, CA) on June 16th, 2023 at 11a.m. on the lawn.
