On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Shirley Merylene Price of San Diego, CA, passed away at the age of 93 into the loving arms of Jesus.
Shirley was born March 13, 1932 in Woodham, Ontario, Canada to Howard and Gladys Black of Lucan, Ontario, Canada. She was a sister to Beth Cott and her late brother Donny Black.
Shirley attended H.B. Beal Special Art School in London, Ontario and majored in Art. She loved track and field sports and was a talented pianist, cake decorator and seamstress.
Shirley was a loving mother to Cathy, Brian, Ben and Melinda, Grandmother to Jennifer, Justin and Daniel and Great-Grandmother to Brooklyn and Carson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego, CA on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 1pm.
