Srini: What a wonderful human being he was. He was always approachable and was ready to help on any matter.   Srini and Selvi made a great network of friends, and it is hard to realize that I wouldn't be seeing him anymore in the temple festivals and in other social gatherings. He connected me with his contacts when I needed help for my business. In fact, my last memory with him was discussing my products. Srini is one that always talks openly about what he thinks. I will always remember his smiley, friendly, and welcoming nature.

My journey started with Srini in 1997 when I landed in San Diego and he picked me up from the airport and took to his home for lunch. Unfortunately,  today is saddest day of my life when I had to say good bye to him forever. We worked together, spent so many laughs together, our kids grew up together...so many memories together, which will  never be washed away. I've been very sad since hearing of your passing.  I have memories of   us working and hanging out multiple times outside of work.  My most memorable time we spent together is when you and your family joined us out on the boat at San Vicente Lake.  You either were not use to being in water or you didn't like the idea when I told you that it was over 100' deep where we were wake boarding and tubing.  Never the less I got you in a life vest and you got on the tube.  I pulled you around and at first you were laughing.  Then I took a fairly sharp turn and it whipped him to the outside.  The speed must have been too much because what I saw on your face for a moment was sheer terror.    I'm sorry I laughed so hard but your expression was priceless.  

I regret now that we didn't stay closer over the past 10 years but I do thank you again that you came to Marti's memorial.

Srinivasan was my husband's college mate .I met Srinivasan and his wife Selvi in India last June 2019. My son Sidharth Suresh had to join UCSD in September. The two hours I spent with this wonderful couple and my fears of sending my son to US  were allayed. They made Sidharth feel so comfortable by their encouraging words and me too. They helped him settle and always ready to help him. No words to describe how my family and me felt on hearing this terrible news. May God be with Selvi and her children during these trying times.

Srini Uncle has helped me a lot ever since I started grad school in the US. Without Uncle and Aunty it would have been really difficult and I am forever grateful for all their help and the wonderful homemade food I got everytime I visited them.
This is a really shocking news and I was devastated to hear about it. More strength to Selvi Aunty, Varun and Shantini to bear with this immeasurable loss.

Mr.Srinivasan family is the very first known family in Kalpakkam when I entered Kalpakkam.As Selvi and I share native Cuddalore and Panruti respectively , we had a quite good bonding. 
Even though Srinivasan family moved to US many years before, our friendship is still the same and meeting them after a long time took me back to the good happy cherishable moments when they were in Kalpakkam. 
Mr.Srinivasan was nice , humble , a sincere well wisher and a caring person towards his family and friends. His loss is a shocking one.

Vasan (Srini) and I used to work for the same consulting firm, and both joined Qualcomm on the same day. When I relocated to San Diego in 1998, I was told Srini was the go-to person.  

In social and family gatherings, he was always cheerful and loved to share his various insights on stocks, finance and politics. He could discuss on any topic in depth as we all know he is an avid reader. He was very approachable, and loved entertaining everyone from kids to adults. He has always been a positive and been a role model and inspirational to many of us.

Our deepest condolences to Selvi, Varun and Shanthi. May God provide strength and support during these difficult times. 
We will miss you Srini especially in social gatherings and family get-togethers, but you will always be remembered, in our thoughts, heart, and mind.

I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear the passing away of Mr. Srinivasan Sadasivam. Words fail me to put down my anguish.
I have very fond memories of this truly excellent gentleman, to whom I became very close, as early as in July 2005, when I visited USA after touring Germany for a couple of weeks. I was virtually starving for home made south Indian food when I landed in San Diego. Srinivasan picked me up took me to his home and I even now vividly remember the pongal which Selvi made for me. His children took me around to visit nearby places of interest and all made sure I had comfortable and pleasant stay. Next when I visited him in his new house in 2017, when he extended the same warm hospitality and dropped me at orange county. This time I was served a truly delicious briyani. I carry very warm and pleasant memories of this great man. 
My heart goes out to all his family, especially Selvi. No words could offer any solace. I don't know what to say, except offering my heart felt condolences in this mournful time. May the good Lord bless his soul and keep him in eternal peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Srini for more than a decade.  He was a wonderful man and a brilliant engineer.  I recall many conversations, too many to list, but know that he loved his family and his work.  He was relentless in pursuit of his passions.  I learned so much from him and considered him a great friend.

Srini uncle is my father's friend and he has been an inspiration, guide to me. Everytime, we had  a hiccup in the States, he was there to guide me and my parents. He helped me to connect with people who are now very dear to me. Move to the States wouldn't have been easier without Srini uncle.
The trip to Yosemite was my very first trip in the United States after I moved to my grad school, I was wrapping up my design finals, I received a call from uncle saying - we want you to join us to this trip, it will be fun.  And yes, it was a lot fun.  Another memory that is close to my heart is uncle and his pet (blue bird). He was a very warm and kind person.  We will miss a guiding light in our life.

I vividly remember our first interaction with Shri.Srinivasan - in 2005 he was introduced to me by a Doctor friend - where his exuberance and positivity were infectious. We were in the same crew at Kalpakkam as shift engineers and he used the time effectively for productive future.

I still remember the first day when he and Selvi came to Kalpakkam after marriage and attended the Pooja.
The working atmosphere with Srini was fun filled. 
We will be always with his memories. 
God will give huge courage to Selvi and kids to live without him.

I have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with Srini and his family during various Indian functions.  I have always found him to have a ready smile and a pleasant demeanor.  Last time, we met at a Dussehra function at mutual friend's house where he even gave valuable advice to my kid on his ensuing college plans. 
My sincere condolences to Srini's family and I hope and pray that they have the strength to bear this loss.


I was talking to Srini a few weeks ago and cannot believe and digest this could happen to him all of a sudden. Words are not enough to express our deep condolences on sudden demise of our beloved friend Srini.
He was always helpful,caring kind and loving person & friend. I can never forget the days I spent with him and family when we were in Kalpakkam in 1988 and after. I vividly remember the days when we were learning oracle in his and my office.He is very knowledgeable and expert in whatever he ventured  in his life. I can never forget the memorable days when we went together in Kawasaki in and around Kalpakkam . Me and Indu express our deep condolences to Selvi ,Varun and Paapu.

 We took Srini's family on their first outing to Borrego Desert when they arrived in San Diego couple of decades ago. Hence, he always called us as their 'family tour guide'. Srini was absolutely warm, genuine, and brilliant always.  Selvi, Shanthini, and Varun are in a dark place now, but his light remains to guide them through. Peace.

Hema and I met Selvi, Srinivasan and Shanthini in 1997 in an Indian store. Since then the 2 families have a special bonding.  When we heard the news, the 3 of us were shocked and have been in tears. There are too many special occasions to list.  Srinivasan -- a brilliant engineer, straight forward, very helpful, never petty on anything or anybody, always positive and a man who always lighted any place with his laughter and humor.  His final moment is in complete contrast to the life of love, warmth and energy that he spread around him. With a very heavy heart, we are still struggling to accept current reality. Srini was one of my close associates in CIT where we did engineering together. We as a group used to go for the evening tea to near by tea shop of our college hostel. Late night tamil classical movies was also part of it. 
Hearing this sad news was like a thunder bolt for me

I worked with Srini in my days at Qualcomm initially when he helped us to integrate the technology  from a Cambridge UK start up that QC acquired and I worked for.  Later we both worked at Qualcomm, he in SD and me in Cambridge and I always loved to catch up with him when I visited SD.

When I heard of Srini's passing it was very sad news indeed.  I remembered him as such a great person to work with, as well as him  becoming a good friend over the 10 years I was at QC. Even later when we stopped working on the same projects I would make sure to stop by his office when I visited SD. We would chat about work family and a shared interest in photography. His photos were always better than mine. 

He always took the time out of his day so we could catch up.   He was just a pleasure to be around and I will remember him fondly. 

My sincere condolences to all the family and I am very sorry for your loss.

He said he will again call us after his session with the whole family.  He has been a connector helping us and others during difficult times . We will miss a dear friend. CIT85  tribute to Srinivasan Sadasivam 

They say that it does not matter how many breaths one takes on this earth by a good human who lived and went past, but how each breath laid a great impact of goodness, compassion, love with the fellow humans around;  that was what the embodiment that our beloved Srinivasan Sadasivam exuded all through his golden presence here.

A man of self guided strong principles of good values in his life, entwined with immense courage and valour, Srinivasan Sadasivam also infused these qualities among his near and dear brethren and his fellow travellers of the journey called life on this planet. Starting from a village town that he hailed from and crusading the arduous trek to the worldly existence among so many challenges he had steered it with elan and reached a pinnacle of a career with his inborn technological prowess. Many a fellow student of his in all of us here, we did see that lead kindly light aspect in him even when we are all the bubbling teens rubbing our shoulders together with mirth at our college.

 Srini as we used to fondly call him, was a Wi-Fi even before the technology crept in more than 3 decades ago, as when he came around the reverberated knowledge burst did invade so pleasingly into his companions around and enabled their uplifting their competence. It will be very difficult to find one more like you, Srini.

A man listening to another man in itself is a boon in these days of fast paced life, yet Srini went a step further and also lent his shoulder to first stabilise the situation and also show a way forward to overcome the earthly hurdles of his friends. Srini, we will not find another like you, friend.

As much as we could go on to talk about Srini, there's only so much our mind voices and emotions can handle.

Srini, all of us in our CIT85 set of brethren stand deeply grieved by our loss in you not being with us anymore.

Srini has always awed me with his immense knowledge. A gentleman with a  contagious smile and great sense of humor.  May his soul rest in peace.

I'm in deep shock on hearing the untimely demise of my friend,  CIT, 
Coimbatore  classmate. It's unbelievable that we can't see him again. He was exceptional in Studies,  brilliant in analysis,  kind hearted towards fellow- humans. We lost one of the best creations in our batch. Srini interviewed me when I joined Qualcomm and our offices were next to each other in Building R for a couple of years. When we heard this news, we were shocked to know this could happen to our Srini. I met Srini while working at Qualcomm many years ago. Over the years, our families became friends. In all community events, and other social gatherings, I would always find Srini sitting with friends, and cutting jokes, and talking about a subject he is passionate about or making some light humored comments and such.

I joined Srini's team at Qualcomm in 2001 and was attracted to his person - very friendly, caring and always ready to help.
We had a great trip to Las Vegas in Nov 2003 with out families. He has this indefatigable energy to make friends and stay in touch.

I would like to respect his being as - great friend, father and husband. So long my friend, until we meet again.

Srini, your pet name is ERUMBU  meaning 'ant' in Tamil. I recall our Study room in Little Flower Hostel Kumbakonam. Exclusively for we scholarship students from rural villages. I told you I have a soft coner for you because my father's name is SRINIVASAN. I  miss you Srini. May God give the strength for your wife son and daughter to bear you absence.

Srini was an allrounder - a 360 ° man - a supremely intelligent, dedicated, disciplined and determined individual who followed his passion which took him from humble beginnings to a brilliant professional career.  On the personal front he raised a beautiful family built on a solid foundation of strong values. The third 3rd dimension to his life and very close to his heart were his friends. He was there for everyone of us when it came to any help in the US. A Wonderful son to his blessed parents, A Loving husband to his lovely wife,  A super hero to his beautiful children, A Generous & Magnanimous friend to all who crossed his life,  A genuine human being and philanthropist - the 360° man. You will be missed!  Rest in Peace, dear friend!

Srinivasan Uncle was always one of the most intellectual people in the room. He was so well read that he could talk about everything. I enjoyed learning and listening through his joking style of conversation. But mostly he had an expansive heart of gold toward  me and my brother Sumi (who passed 7 years ago). He shared a bond with my brother that I will never forget and he treated me with love and affection every time he saw me. I am honored to have known him and spent many parties and get togethers with him and I will miss him dearly. I'm so glad I got to see him one last time for my 40th birthday having fun at an escape room together 1 week before COVID shut the world down. Srinivasan Uncle has always felt to me part and parcel of my memories of San Diego and one of the closest friends of my family. It is a tragic loss for our family to have lost a friend like him.
