Tao Van Bui, age 90, of San Diego, California passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Tao was born in Ha Noi, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Tao is survived by his wife, Trang Nguyen; his daughter Ngoc-Diep Bui; his son Tuan Anh Bui Nguyen; and his daughter Hong-Diep Bui (Tan Nguyen); his grandson Joe Nguyen, his grandson Jack Nguyen, his grandson Johnny Nguyen, his granddaughter Jennifer Nguyen and his granddaughter Joliee Nguyen.

A buddhist casketing service "lễ nhập liệm" for Tao will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM. A visitation "thăm viếng" will occur Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral ceremony "lễ cầu siêu lễ, di quan" will occur Monday, July 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM. A witness cremation will occur Monday, July 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113.
