Tausauai is survived by his son Taus M. Tafilele Jr; his son Valentino M. Tafilele; his daughter Karah M. Tafilele; his daughter Kose Tafilele; his daughter Natash Uti; and his daughter Nakilta Fuimaono; his brother Simoli Tafilele, his sister Maina Tafilele, his sister Lagi Eseroma and his sister Mahina Talo Peleti; his grandchild Flojo P. Lefale, his grandchild Vallarina E. Tafilele, his grandchild Carah S. Tafilele, his grandchild Joval E. Tafilele, his grandchild Saina Jr. Tafilele, his grandchild Bentau Tafilele, his grandchild Kaylan I. Tafilele, his grandchild Tyson Tafilele, his grandchild T.J. K.M. Tafilele and his grandchild Taumanofo Tafilele.

Tausauai was preceded in death by his brother Faifili Tafilele; his brother Asolelei Tafilele; his brother Talia Talo; his brother Lemasino Tafilele and his sister Lalelei Sio.

A visitation for Tausauai will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 27, 2023 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5095 Nobel Dr., San Diego, CA 92115.

Serving as pallbearers are Taus Tafilele , Kose Tafilele , Saina Tafilele , Bentau Tafilele, Tafi Tafilele and Ronnie Sylvas .
