I only met Tommy once at my cousins' wedding but great memories of that weekend!!!
My parents were friends of his parents and also from Joliet... Mickey and Linda Werner
We are so very very sorry to hear of his passing and my only wish was that I would haven known him and been able to be friends with this great man...

Big Murph was a great athlete. Always thought that he would have played more football, but told me golf would last forever. Glad he became involved with first tee. We both lost a son, and we shared that.

You were the Man, and you will be missed. My Arizona roommate that always made me laugh. Whether on the golf course or traveling from Zona to Utah or Spring break senior year in Phoenix, where I believe you first fell in love with the West. I’m confident you’ll have them laughing in Heaven. God Bless you Big Murph, until we meet again. 

So sad and shocked to hear this. We grew up with Tommy,Ray Ray and his loving parents.  You always knew if you entered a room if Tommy was there.  May Christ give you all some healing. We will miss you my brother. 

For several years back in the late '80s and into the 90s, I coached a slow pitch softball team that played in Tucson city league and in state tournaments.  Our softball team routinely finished first year after year..until Tom Murphy and the Travel Bound softball team entered the picture.  Our games were highly competitive when playing them, and we became to respect the players, and especially Tom and Johnny Fiore.  I am a rodeo fan, and Tom always told me he used to rodeo.  We would see each other often during the softball years, and infrequently the last 10 yrs or so.  I was shocked and distressed to hear of his passing.  He was a "guys..guy" and  will be missed..but memories of him will be shared for many years to come.   RIP Murph


We grew up together. We were best men at each of our weddings. Gayle and you introduced your son Bryan to this world, and Lost him in life’s untimely wisdom on earth.  But you are now together. 

Tommy, Please give my love to my parents, sister and family that have passed... and introduce Bryan to them,
