Vernell Vivian Fultz was called home August 23, 2026. She worked as the Telecommunications Administrator at The Salk Institute for 40 years. Originally from Richmond, Va Vernell lived in San Diego for over 60 years. She is preceded in death by her youngest son Irvin Imara-Jua Floyd and survived by her eldest son Eugene Cortez Floyd, Jr., and her grandchildren Savana Floyd and Xavier Floyd of Fresno, California.
