

Vincent was raised in New Orleans in a house across the street from Saint Augustine High School, where he attended and graduated in 1958.
After graduating in 1958, he was recruited with 57 other students to be the first blacks to integrate into Louisiana State University of New Orleans, LSUNO. After two years of attending the University he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. Following the completion of his training in San Diego, he married Jennie Frances Boyard. Together they had three children, Loren, Kevin, and Danielle. He also helped to raise Jennie's first born son, Jimmie.
He completed one tour of duty overseas and after eight years of service he decided not to re-enlist. He then went on the teach trade classes at a school campus located on El Cajon Bvld before accepting a position at Pacific Southwest Airline (PSA) as an Electrical Engineer. He retired after 20 plus years employment. After his divorce from Jennie in 1980, he married Beverly Madden and was widowed. He then married Emily Apodaca and formed a blended family with her children and grandchildren. He was widowed after 25 years of marriage to Emily.
Vincent enjoyed traveling, vacationing in his timeshares, and listening to Motown Music. His hobby was the art of photography. He was an entrepreneur and purchased many rental properties that he enjoyed renovating. He also loved "do it yourself" projects. He belonged to St. Rita’s Parish and attended mass regularly until he became ill.
Vincent Angeletta is survived by his children Loren, Kevin, and Danielle Angeletta, David Mayes, and his step-children Jimmie Warmington, and Rosanne and Paul Apodaca, his grand-children and great grand- children living in San Diego, and a host of nieces and nephews from New Orleans. His death was peaceful, and he will be missed by his family and friends.
