Violet Louise O'Farrell

It is with great sadness that the family of Violet Louise O’Farrell announces her passing in Encinitas, California on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the age of 98 years. She was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1920 to parents Howard Nelson and Mary Alice (Terry) Petty. She was third in the family of 10 children and is survived by siblings, Howard Neil Petty of Ohio, and James William Petty of Florida.

After graduating from North High School, in Columbus, she had a career in bookkeeping and social services. She traveled extensively with many Elderhostel programs through the 80’s and 90’s. She was an active member of several organizations such as Colonial Dames, Ohio Genealogical Society, and Retired Senior Volunteer Program of El Cajon.

She was preceded in death by husbands Robert W Robison Sr., Frank V. O’Farrell, and sons Larry T. Robison and Dennis J. Robison.

Louise will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Rebecca J. Robison (Al) Coan, son Robert Robison, Jr., daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, 16 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

A funeral service in memory of Louise will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego with Scott Robison officiating, and many family members providing music. Viewing is at 11am, service at noon, reception 1:00 p.m. Interment at El Camino Mortuary will follow at 2:30 p.m.
