Virginia Keith Whaling

Born: July 31, 1918 in Crocket, California to Fern and James Dunbar Keith.

She is survived by her three sons Art, Bill, and Don Whaling; daughter, Linda Johnson; two granddaughters, Heather and Heidi Grettenberger; two grandsons, Jason Whaling and Clifford Johnson; six great granddaughters, Abbie, Gracie, Jenna, and Jessica Grettenberger and Naomi, and Natalie Whaling.

Virginia was a resident of La Mesa for 51 years. She loved to garden. Flowers were her favorite to plant, cultivate and display for others to enjoy. She whistled while she worked and especiallywhen she was pulling weeds.

She was a giving, selfless friend to many and well liked by all who had opportunity to enjoy her company of conversation or receive something that she had, knitted or crotched. There wasn't a ball of yarn she didn't like.

Forty eight years a member of Skyline Church in which most of that time she contributed in the work of the church.
