I am privileged to call Hortense my friend.
When she and Mr. Scott came to East Texas to visit relatives, they included a visit with us.  Again with Barbara, which may have been  her last trip to Texas, they included us.  What a joy those visits were.

I came in contact with Mrs. Scott through my friend Genevieve Currier sometime in 2017, and we had a “telephone friendship”, finally meeting at the Celebration of Life service for Genevieve. Mrs. Scott was a delightful person to know & talk with, and I will miss her.
