Hi Honey,

More flowers for your 4th anniversary of passing, October 1st. Kelly and Mitchell bought the yellow tulips and some purple flowers. 🥹🥹💜💜

Michelle FaceTime with the me. Albert was so sweet and bought some purple flowers for Michelle.

We really raised our kids well and thank God for their other halves. Albert and Kelly are very thoughtful and sweet.

Hi Honey,

Today is October 1st. I’m all tearing up now as I’m writing to you. I can’t believe it has been FOUR whole years since you went to be with the Lord. But it still feels like you were just gone not too long ago.

I was soooo happy on September 26. You were in my dream and you were such loving dad to both Michelle and Mitchell.

Honey, you would be sooo proud of me if you could see how I took care of the house and made sure the house is just fine, be it a leak or replacing major appliances. I did well. But … even though I could do it well, I still rather do it together with you. You were always here in the past.

You are so loved by many good friends. Every year, Melissa has been gifting me purple hearts. Mary and others would send me messages.

Every October 1st and our wedding anniversary, I make sure I wear purple to remember you. Purple is now my favorite color as well. It carries a very special reminder of you to me.

I will forever remember you in a place inside my heart. My love for you is soooo deep and strong.

I miss you soooo dearly! 🥺
I love you even more. 💜💜

Hi Honey,

Today is September 1st. It marks you have been with the Lord for 47 months that is 3 years and 11 months. I’m just in tears thinking how long you have been with the Lord.

There are times I felt like crying at church, but I told myself to hold it back. I still miss you tremendously.

There are days I REALLY wish that you could be here. But I handled those days well and I know you would be proud of me. In all situations I learned to trust God. I thank God that I have Him.

I miss you soooo dearly! 🥺

Hi Honey,

Today is June1st and it marks you were with the Lord for 44 months. It’s soooo hard to believe that it has been 44 months. But it still feels like you just passed. On every first of the month, I found myself missing you more and more. I look back these 44 months and always wonder how did I make it through. I know God is the one who makes it possible for me to get through every single day without you.

“And as each day goes by
I get a little bit stronger
But that don't stop me from wishing you
Were here a little bit longer”

Today I heard a song called “Beat You There”. The lyrics really hit the spot!!! 🥺😞😢😔

God takes the good ones home first. And Frances told me that my dad said that I’m independent and capable and maybe that’s why you beat me there.

I’m in tears while writing this to you. I miss you sooo much!! I’m so glad that you are always in my heart 💜.

Hi Honey,

On Friday morning, I went to Torrey Pines Scripps to do my EMG. It has been such a long time since I had been there. All I could remember was you going to your oncologist, doing your treatment and being hospitalized for fever. I was soooooo sad. 😔 😞 😢. My eyes got all teary. I miss you. Words cannot express how much I miss you. 🥺 There is always a missing piece in my heart, and that’s you. 💜💜
I have been following this Facebook page called 香游氏. Her husband passed about the same time you did. She would share her life experience without her hubby. So many times, I could totally relate myself to her.

Hi Honey,

Today is May 1. It marks you have been with the Lord for 43 months. When I look at the number “43”, it seems so long ago. But yet, it still feels like you just left. Looking back, I didn’t know how I got thru each day since your passing. The only saving grace is God - walking with him each day and trust in him.
There have been so many things happened since I wrote you last month. All I can say is that my health is like a seesaw. I thank God that he restored my health.

Hi Honey,

I spent 3 weeks with Michelle. It was surely a blessing from above. I got to spend almost 3 weeks with E as well. It was a very special time. Do you know what the cherry on top of everything is? Hearing Michelle playing Steve Green’s songs for E. It brought back so many memories when Michelle and Mitchell were young. We used to played all those songs for them to hear and see. It was such a special way to remember you and that shows that Michelle values those songs and that she passes them to E.

I miss you. If you were here, I know you would spend all those weeks with them too.

Hi Honey,

Today marks you went to be with the Lord for 42 months or 3 1/2 years. Life without you has changed sooooo much. There have been many special moments happened. One of these beautiful moments is that Michelle has a baby boy. He was born in the same birth month as you. They named the baby’s middle name after you- “Wilson”. When I heard that, I cried. It was such a special way to remember you.

Every first of the month has been very special to me. It is a way for me to share with you and to remember you. 💜

I miss you so dearly. Thinking of you!!
Wish you could be here with me to see Ezra and spend time with him.

Hi Honey,

Today marks 37 months of your passing. Time surely flies. It still feels like you just passed not too long ago. Looking back the past 5 years plus since you were sick and passed away, this is the very first time ever, I’ve gotten sick 🤒 🤧 to the point I took a sick day from work. I just rested at home.
Every first of the month has been very special to me. It is a way for me to share with you and to remember you. 💜
I’m so glad I have the teddy bear 🧸 which is made with your shirts. It is always near me, by my pillows. I can hug it and kiss it whenever I wanted to.

Hi Honey,

3 years ago on this day, October 15, 2022, we had your Celebration of Life at church. We encouraged whoever came to your Celebration of Life to wear purple because purple was your favorite color. Since then I adopted purple to be my favorite color along with yellow. I still remember Mitchell spoke so well and Michelle sang so beautifully on that day. We are indeed truly blessed with 2 wonderful children.

Today is October 1st. 3 years ago was the saddest day of my life. It has been three years since you went to be with the Lord.

You were my love. You were my only love. How I missed you!😞 How I missed hugging you. I cried 😢😢. I’m sooo sad not having you around.
There are soooo many things I wish I could do with you again. Like…

- sitting together
- Eating together
- Watching TV together
- holding hands together
- Shopping together
- Traveling to different places together
- Serving the Lord together
- Taking pictures together
- Driving together
- Talking together
- Resting together
- Doing dishes together
- Crying together
- Hugging together
- Laughing together
- Drinking coffee together
- Taking walks together
- Smiling together
- Baking for you

Oh I just miss you dearly!!! 🥺🥺

Hi Honey,

Happy what would’ve be our 34th Anniversary! 💜💕💜💕💜💕

Remember in 2018, we went to Disneyland for our anniversary right on that day. It was such a special day. When we first got married, we weren’t intended our wedding day to be the Star Wars Day. Now, May 4th = “May the Force Be With You” Day. 🤣😂😆 I guess it just made our anniversary day EXTRA special.
I was looking through our cards that we gave to each other, one of our anniversaries, we actually bought the EXACT same card to each other. It was so neat. It just shows how connected we were.

“And if you find a love that's tender
If you find someone who's true
Then thank the Lord
He's been doubly good to you”
Doubly Good

I love you with all my heart! Missing a lot more today for today is OUR special day.

It was a shocking news! Tom's sudden passing leaves an unfillable void in the lives of all who loved him. With his quick wit, infectious humor, and generous heart, Tom had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. As a devoted prayer warrior and faithful encourager, he spent his life lifting others up and pointing them to Jesus. I'm grateful to have served alongside him on the Deacon Board, where his wisdom and guidance were invaluable. Tom was also a beloved member of our TGIF small group fellowship, where he consistently demonstrated his passion for the Word of God and his desire to see others grow in their faith. I will miss his love, wisdom, and guidance, but his legacy of faith, love, and laughter will continue to inspire and uplift by all his family and friends. May the peace of Jesus be with you, Connie, George and Noah. We will all meet again in our heavenly home.

Hi Honey,

I have listened to Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” so many times. I have never given much thoughts about it. However, for the very first time, as I was driving to work today, I really resonated with this song. “I’m not enough … I will never measure up …I am weak … I am falling short … when I don’t belong … I can’t feel a thing … when I think I am weak …” Through the song, God told me,” I am strong, I am loved, I am held, I am His…”
In Him, I find my identity, my worth and the only thing that matters is what God thinks of me. I really find comfort in the song.

Love you!

In few more days, our daughter will become someone’s else daughter in law. Just wish you could be here to be with me to go through this occasion. 🥺🥺🥺🥺
If you were here now, you would be sitting right next to me enjoying the view or taking a simple walk in the water holding hands together.
Oh… how I miss you, Honey!! 😞😞😞
It’s so difficult to walk the paths that we once walked together as a family and yet.. now walking the same path without you. How I miss making memories with you.

Hi Honey,

How I wish you could be here with me this very moment. Another MAJOR milestone for our family is about to happen in few more days. Our M is getting married. And you are not here to walk her down the aisle. 😢
I’m so glad that Mitchell and I will walk her down the aisle cause this is one of the last wishes that you wanted me to do. You told me that since I’m your the other half and you wanted me to walk her down the aisle when she gets married. 🥺
Oh Honey, I know I will get all teary up as I walk her down the aisle. I miss you so much and I have been purposely kept myself super busy so I won’t think about it. I have such a mixed feelings. I’m sooooo excited for M & A’s marriage. I truly can tell that our M is in good hands. A took very good care of M. I’m very happy for them. The only thing that is missing to make this a PERFECT occasion is YOU. We did a great job raising our M & M. I just wish you could be here to share this joy! My eyes are filled with tears as I’m writing this. What are mixed emotions- happy, excited and sad and sentimental. It’s going to be a very very special day for our girl!!🥰💞💕💗
By the way today is Michelle’s Birthday!! 💜

Hi Honey,

Today is the day which Michelle officially moves to Hawaii. 🥺🥺 We cried. Now I miss you and I will miss her. Double the missing whammy.

I love you!! Wish you can be here this very moment with me holding my hands and giving me hugs. But I know, I know with time I will be fine. Plus I know God is always with me. But still I wish that.

Hi Honey,

Happy Birthday to you my love 🎂!
I miss you so much. You have no idea how much I miss you. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
As I’m writing this, tears are rolling down my cheeks. 😢😢😢😢😢
There will be so many changes within the next few months. How I wish you can be here with me holding hands and going through all these changes together. I hope I’m strong enough to make it through. I know with time I will.
I remember once I told myself that when our M& M find their own other half, I’m ready to be with the Lord and you. I know whatever hardships they might face, they will not be alone. They will have their other half to carry each other’s burden. Plus I know our M& M will have each other’s backs. I’m at peace.

I love you 💜 💜💜and I miss you🥺🥺🥺!

Hi Honey,

Today marks you’ve been with the Lord for 29 months. But it still feels very much like you just passed not too long ago. I miss you soooo much.
A few days ago, I was listening to some Christian songs. They reminded me of our time together - when and where we heard those songs for the first time.
-The Motion (Matthew West): we heard this when we were at an Awana Conference
- From the Inside Out (HillSong): it reminded me the time when we went to the HillSong Conference in LA.

There are so many little things remind me of you! I love you and I miss you dearly.

Hi Honey,

Tonight I just wish - really wish you could be here. I miss you 😢 soooo much!
I long for …
-spending time with you
-sharing with you
-holding hands with you
-talking with you
-doing things with you
-updating my life with you
-taking pictures with you
-watching TV with you
-sitting with you
-crying next to you (like what’s I’m doing now)
But most of all …
-just being side by side with you

I know if you’re here, things would be sooooo different. I would feel so much better. I could get things off my chest by talking with you.

Today - the whole day I felt off since the beginning of the day - from the moment I woke up. The only time I didn’t think or feel that way was when I’m teaching. Somehow teaching gets my mind off of things. I really thank God that I can teach and for the passion he gives me for teaching.

I miss you dearly! 🥺🥺🥺😢😢😢

Hi Honey,

Missing you so much! It’s a long weekend for the teachers. Wishing you are here with me. There will be a lot of MAJOR and exciting changes in our family within the next few months. But with all these changes, the SADDEST part is that you are NOT here with me. 🥺🥺😢😢

I think I will cry and maybe even sob 😭 in all those moments. I told myself it’s okay if I do.
Even just thinking and writing about this makes me feel sooo sad and get all teary eyed. 😢😢

Hi Honey,

Happy Valentine’s Day. 💜💜
It’s another rainy day. On my way to the car service this morning. God let me see a beautiful rainbow. I really thank God that I got to see it on this special day. God is good, isn’t he!! I thought of you so frequently as this holiday crept in. I miss you soooo much!🥺🥺 Let me tell you, it still feels like you just went to be with the Lord.
After the car service, I decided to get myself a McGriddle for breakfast. I want to remember you more this day. Eating the McGriddle reminds me of your last Fast Food you ate with Michelle. I’m in tears as I’m writing this.

I miss you so dearly that words can’t express how much I miss you!😢

Hi Honey,

Today is Feb.1. So it has been 28 months since your passing. There are sooo many ups and downs since you went to be with the Lord. Few days ago, we finally had a rainy day. As I was driving to church, when I saw the rain, it felt like the sky was crying for me. I got all teary eyed. 🥺 I cried along with the rain. It felt good to be able to cry for I missed you so dearly. I once told a dear friend of mine that my life is like constantly riding on a coaster 🎢 . There will be ups and downs. Miss having you around is the hardest part of all. I want you to be with me when I experience exciting new things! I want you to be with me when I’m experiencing hardships!
I love you sooooo much 💜💜💜💜

Hi Honey,

I miss you so much. I really wish you could be still here, especially when things have to do with the house. I just fixed another thing around the house. I know if you were here you would take care of it. You would definitely have better judgement as how to approach it. But anyway I did it. Everything should be good for now.

But it didn’t change the fact that I miss you so dearly. 🥺😞😢

I am sad 😞 so sad 😢😢.

Hi Honey,

It has been 26 months since you went to be with the Lord. This weekend I had an emotional crying moment. It was way overdue. I missed you dearly and badly. Even though it has been 26 months, but it feels like you were just passed. The whole day on Friday, I felt off, deep inside of me I felt sad, miserable, down, melancholic…
I’m glad I’m home now, back to my comfort zone.

Hi Honey,

Event though Sunday was my birthday, I found myself missing you terribly. 🥺
However, I felt so loved by our M&M. They have indeed are all grown up. They took me to a very famous and fancy restaurant for dinner and bought me very thoughtful gifts. I’m so touched by their love for me. 💜💜
We have raised them well especially on the concept of family value.

I must say I had a great birthday!🎁 and definitely created some new fond memories with them. 🥹

Hi Honey,

Today marks the 25 months of your passing. Wow! You have been with the Lord for 25 months. 🥹 - bitter sweet. I’m so glad you are with the Lord now. But part of me still wishing that you could be here with me!🥺🥺

When things happened to the car, I learned to take care of it without feeling too much stress. I just googled and learned how to fix it.

At times we have been making new family memories - doing things that we have never done before. In October, we actually went and waited in lines for the Grand Opening of the Uniqlo in UTC. It was fun and crazy 🤪. We got there 2 hours before they actually opened. We got many of the grand opening special things like little gift bags, water bottles and we even got our name written in Japanese style calligraphy.

Our M&M have been taking good care of me. They are very mindful and caring.💜🥹

Hi Honey,
Today is your 2 year passing anniversary. God reminds me to praise Him especially today. I wrote one message already this morning. (Hopefully they will post it)
I just wanted to praise God once again. I went to Trader Joe’s planning to buy you some yellow roses knowing tulips is not in season. As I walked in, I saw a beautiful yellow tulip bouquet. My heart just warmed up and a big smile displayed on my face. I know this is a blessing from God.

Hi Honey,

Today marks your 2 year passing anniversary. I took a day off from teaching today. I just wanted to spend time to remember you. I looked at all of our pictures and watched the video on your obituary page. Tears started rolling down my face. I miss you. 🥺😢 I miss all the moments we’ve been together. I’m glad I took a day off from work, so I can spend some ”us” time. There are so many things I miss you about. The list can go on and on.
Last week I went to one of Michelle’s church prayer meetings where we spent time quietly with God to let Him speak to us. God reminded me that on this day, I should praise Him and not just feeling sad… but to Praise Him for what He has done.
So here is the list of praises:
1. You are no longer in pain.
2. You no longer have to sit through hours of chemo.
3. You no longer have to deal with the side effects of chemo.
4. You no long have the dreadful disease of cancer.
5. You are in a better place.
6. You are with the Lord which matters the MOST.
7. You are in Jesus’ arms being comforted and cared for.
8. I experience God so many times.
9. He carried me through so many downs while you are not here.
10. He constantly gives me strength to carry on.

I love you!💜

Hi Honey,

Today marks the day you went to be with the Lord 23 months. My heart still aches very much just knowing that you are not here with me anymore. By God’s grace, I’m doing okay. But … I still miss you like crazy.
I listen to many songs that I resonate with. Songs like:
This Side of Heaven (Riley Clemmons)
Quiet (Diana Trout)
Scars in Heaven (Casting Crown)
Every time I listen to these songs, my heart would feel sad. 😢
How I wished you could still be here with me. So many times I really really wished you could be here to deal with things together with me. So I wouldn’t be alone dealing with them.

I miss you dearly!

Hi Honey,

Today marks the 22 months of your passing. I still miss you like crazy! 🥺 I think of you everyday! 😢
A few days ago, as I was driving, I was listening to Blessings by Laura Story. It was one of your favorite songs! The lyric is always so touching. The more I listen to it, the more I’m glad that I’m the one who’s left behind and I’m the one who goes thru the grieving. I love you too much to let this happen to you. It would be so difficult if you have to go thru what I’m going thru now. I wouldn’t want you to do that. I love you way too much to let you bear this hardship. God is good. He knows us well.
In the past, we always joked around and said let’s see who gets to get on the express train first to be with God. Honey, I don’t want you to be alone in this world. I’m seriously glad that I am the one. My love for you is soooo great.

I miss you dearly!

Hi Honey,

I did so many things inside and outside of our house to keep everything clean just the ways you always wanted it. As I was doing them, I couldn’t help myself feeling sad 😔 because I miss you soooo much. When you went to be with the Lord, there’s a gigantic humongous hole within me. I know the hole is slowly being filled with Jesus. But it takes time. To me the hole would never be completely filled until the day I go to be with the Lord.
I think I’m way overdue for my crying 😢 for missing you . I’m glad I got to do it now.
This weekend I went to Pat Hall’s mom Celebration of Life. I started crying because I thought of you and missing you. There was an empty seat next to me as though it was reserved for you. I don’t like going to the celebration of life, it really makes me sooo sad 🥺😢 - all because you are not here!

I miss you so much!

Hi Dad, I passed all my teacher exams and assessments all on the first try over the past two years as of yesterday. I know you would be proud because you would pass everything on the first try too because we are smart and we like to study. I have two more classes and then I'll be done with my masters, too. Thank you for instilling in me the importance of work and school and as you would say, "long term planning," haha. I love you, Dad.

Hi Honey,

Today marks the 21 months of your passing. 😢
I was reading our journal- how and when our journey started back in 1989 from being singles to our dating life and to our engagement. It was so detailed by days. My heart aches sooo much from missing you as I was reading it. I still haven’t recovered emotionally. It’s sooooo hard. The more I read, the harder I cried. Tears just kept rolling down on my face. The more I read it, the more it shows our love for each other is sooooo deep. I really thank God that you are my better half. This journal is our story - THIS IS OUR STORY: and THIS IS US! 💜💜

Hi Honey,

This weekend we celebrated Mother’s Day instead of last week. It was rather special. Kelly came and celebrated with us. It all worked out cause Michelle sang in the Park Hill Church Choir. Kelly came and saw Michelle’s singing. The kids bought me 2 new Yeti thermo cups. Guess what color they are. - Purple and White - your favorite colors. It just made my day - it was so sweet and thoughtful. One for my coffee ☕️and the other for my tea. 🫖

Wish you could be here!🥺

Hi Honey,

May 4,2024
I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary with Michelle and Mitchell going to D-land. I’m sure you are looking down from the heaven smiling at Michelle and Mitchell for they both are so caring of me. We had a great time creating new memories there!💜

I miss you!😢

Hi Honey,

Happy anniversary! It would’ve been our 33rd anniversary. I had a great day on May 4th with Michelle and Mitchell. We had a wonderful time at D-land. I know if you were still here, that’s exactly where we would have gone to celebrate too. I missed you so very much.
Today was another tough rough day for both Michelle and me. We just fixed our single garage door last week. Michelle’s car got stuck inside the garage. Miraculously, I was able to find a repairman to fix it in the same day after school. Then today …
Michelle’s car wouldn’t start. That was stressful!! So after school, I took it to a mechanic and figured out it was the car battery.
I wish I really wish you could be still here. I want to take care of any problems and issues around the house with you. I know I am capable and independent that I can take care all these things. But… I don’t want to be capable and independent. I want to do it with you. I miss you soooo much, Honey.

I miss you!🥺🥺😢😢

Hi Honey,

Today is May 1, it has been 19 months since you went to be with the Lord. So many things have happened, so many stress moments about the house. First it was the fridge, then the dish washer and today the garage door. When things like these happened, it makes me missing you even more than ever. I miss you sooooo much. So many situations I wish you can be here with me to take care of these things together. But I know I will be fine cause God is here to take care of me and everything. And things will just turn out fine.

I miss you dearly. I miss you very much and I still cry when I miss you!

I love you!💜💜💜

I missed you. Miss having you around. Last Monday, I dreamt of you!! That makes me happy.💜💜

Still get all tearing up when I see your pictures or write in your obituary page.

Hi Honey,

Today is April 1. It has been 18 months (1 1/2 year) since you went to be with the Lord. Just the thought of it brings tears to my eyes. And looking at your pictures brings tears to my eyes. I missed you so much!

Every Sunday worship in the Canto services, I still cry. That’s okay. I just missed you sooo much. We were so close to each other. As I’m writing this, I’m crying too. I really miss you. 😢🥺 I feel like a big part of me is missing.

I’m working hard to do things on my own. I know you would be proud of me with all the things I learned.

Hi Honey,

I just went to the Good Friday service. I have been feeling very anxious about it for the past few weeks. Many days I had flashbacks how I was last year during the Good Friday Service. Last year I was sobbing so much cause it was the very first Good Friday without you. This year I cried. I thank God that Winnie SooHoo was sitting next to me. I got to tell her how I feel. I cried and she put her arm around me and just let me cried. I made it through. 💜💜

I miss you! 🥺

Today is March 20. I’m soooo happy. 🥹 You were in my dream. I’m so thrilled to see you in my dream!! It was a very sweet dream. I like being so close to you, even it was just in my dream. 🛌 😴 💭

Oh… I missed you so terribly. 🥺 I still get all teary eyed when I sit in the Canto worship on Sundays. That’s okay, I’m gonna just let it go naturally. If I cry, I cry.😢

Hi Honey,

It’s kinda cool when our new School Area Superintendent knows me, just like the SDUSD School Superintendent knows me. When she saw me today, she actually hugged me. She said, “I remember you!” Wow! That’s was quite a surprise! We talked for a short time. She started saying how she used to be one of the Mira Mesa School principals and she was with J. Wrobleski, our retired principal whom I loved! God is good. It’s nice that I was recognized by the district level personnel. 🤗 I think it will be fun going to the District’s Teacher of the Year Celebration in May. Wish you could be here!🥺

Good Friday Service is just right around the corner. I remember last year, I sobbed so much during the Good Friday Service😢.
Just thinking about it, makes me cry 😢. I know I will cry again. If I cry, I cry. That’s okay.

I miss you!🥺😞🥺😞

Hi Honey,

Thinking of you especially today!! Today is March 10. It’s your birthday! This is the second birthday we couldn’t celebrate together. I miss you soooo much!! My heart still aches from missing you!🥺😞

Michelle and Mitchell are so thoughtful. The three of us are gonna spend time together. I really thank God for both of them. We did raise them well, Honey. You would’ve been so proud of both of them.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I miss you so much more today. I decided to wear purple to school today! Wearing purple makes me think of you even more and I feel closer to you!
🥺🥺😞😞

Thank you for all the past years when Valentine’s Day landed on a school day, you always sent flowers to my school. I felt so loved by you!! Even all my school secretaries knew that whenever there’s a flower delivery, they knew it would be for me.
Thank you for all your love! 💜

Thinking of you! 😢😢
Missing you!😞😞

Hi Honey,

Another major holiday without you! Happy Chinese new Year!!
Miss you sooo much!! 🥺🥺🥺
Thinking of you tears me up!
Remembering how we used to celebrate the Lunar New Years with M &M. One year we went to Season 52. We didn’t eat Chinese food like other Asian families. We were such a unique family!!! I love that!!!
Wish you could be here. 🥺🥺😢😢😢

I love you!💜💜💜

Hi Honey,

Today is February 1. It has been 16 months since you went to be with the Lord. Every time when I think of you, it brought tears to my eyes. I still miss you very very much. Life is very very different without you. Many times I wish you could be still here. My love for you hasn’t change one bit. I love you soooo soooo much!

I miss you! 🥺

Hi Honey,

This year I was selected to be the teacher of the year for our school. I am very happy 🤗and excited about this honor that my colleagues picked me to be the Teacher of the Year. However, I am very sad too because you’re not here to share this happy moment with me. 🥺😢
On January 19, our principal announced it to the entire school, the school gave me a bouquet of roses. To my surprise, 2 of my students’ parents also bought me 2 more bouquets of flowers. 💐
On January 20, Michelle, Mitchell and I planned to go to Disneyland. So on that day, we decided we’d celebrate that I’m the teacher of the year. I even got a button from D-land for it! We had a great time.
Do you want to know something funny, Honey? On that day, I wore your down jacket, Michelle wore your rain jacket and Mitchell wore your Mickey Mouse jacket. Somehow unplanned, we all wore something that once belonged to you. I felt like you were there with us. It felt very special on that day. We all have part of you with us. Isn’t that cool, Honey!!
On May 7, the school district will honor all the teachers of the year from all schools. It will be quite an experience.

I miss you! I miss you so much!!🥺😞😢

I love you!💜💜💜

Hi Honey,

Happy New Year! Today marks the day that you are with the Lord for 15 months. I miss you a whole lot! I’m thinking of you all the time.
I went to Park Hill Church with Michelle and Mitchell for the past 2 weeks. I’m really happy that I got to worship the Lord in the same church with them as a family.
It was kind of cool that on Dec. 24’s Sunday worship, Phil Wickham was the one who led the praise worship. I got to see him up close!
On the Dec. 31’s worship, it was different and meaningful. I got to meditate my gratitude to the Lord and examine the goodness of God. I cried because when I thought back how God was here for me and walked with me the past year while you were gone. I’m so grateful how much God loves me.
During the worship, I also got to spend time thinking about my griefs in the past year which means I got to think about you. I was sad that you are no longer able to be with me! 😞 I love you, Honey! I love you so much!💕💜💕💜
For the last part of the worship, I got a chance to think about asking God for wisdom to do things in the coming year, 2024. I prayed and God reminded me about my personal mission statement-“May every person I encounter see Christ in me.” Then I asked God to give me wisdom that everyday in the coming year - 2024 - when people see my actions, they can see that I’m a Christian and really see Christ in me.

I miss you!🥺
I love you!💜💜💜

Hi Honey,

Went to a vacation with M&M. Really missed you a whole lots. Wish you could be there. You would enjoy the food, the pool and the beach. Wish that we could have taken more vacations together before you went to the be with the Lord. By far this is one of my regrets. Vacationing without you feels so different. I enjoyed the trip a lot … but I honestly think I would enjoy it even more if you were there.

I love you! 💜💜💜

Hi Honey,

Yesterday was Dec. 1, 2023. It’s hard to believe that you have been with the Lord for 14 months. I still miss you a lot. Whenever I think of you, my eyes would fill up with tears! That’s how much I missed you! 🥺🥺
Today the CCHC’s “the Heralders” were at CBCSD. Rev. Lee and the team were leading a concert/evangelical meeting. When I first sat in the worship hall, I thought I would be okay. But then the longer I sat there, I started thinking of you- if you were still here, you would be sitting next to me and we would greet the lead singer together. Then they sang some older songs, I just lost it and I started crying feeling super sad. 😢😢😞😞
But overall, I had a great time catching up with everyone. Pollyanna C-Mo and I had a very good time talking and caring for one another. 💕

I love you! 💜💜💜

Hi Honey,

This is the second time that you weren’t here to celebrate my birthday. Just the thought of it makes me feel very sad and tears started filled my eyes!
🥺🥺😞😞😢😢
I still remembered before you passed and how you wished me “Happy Birthday” twice. You were always so thoughtful and so well prepared.
We certainly raise our kids right. Michelle and Mitchell did soooo much for my big birthday. I feel sooo loved by them. Our kids have grown sooo much. I’m sure you would be so proud of them.
The past couple days have been really crazy. I made quite a few major decisions. It feels surreal. But I did it. I know if you were here, I wouldn’t have to do that. I’m getting better at it.

I love you!💜💜💜
I love you all the way to the moon 🌙!
