Zenie was a very active member of the St. Rita's Catholic Church and the treasurer of the Filipino Community of St. Rita's. She also served as a treasurer in the Forever Young Lion's Club of San Diego. She loved to dance, cook, play mahjong, go to the casino, travel the world and most importantly, spend time with family and friends.
In Loving Memory of Our Beloved
ZENAIDA CAPILI ALOTA
On behalf of the entire Alota family, we would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
A special thanks to the Filipino Community of St. Rita's for providing the refreshments for today's memorial.
Please continue to share the loving stories of our beloved mom, Zenie. She touched so many lives and the memory of her will last a long time. Throughout her life she fought through so much adversity, but always kept her beautiful smile. We will miss her tremendously. She will live in our hearts forever.
Our mom peacefully passed last Thursday at 2:47pm, military time: 1427. Fittingly, John 14:27 reads: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I donot give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. "
** In case your wondering why our mom's casket is pink, the simple answer is - because she wanted it that way! In honor of our mom and her love for pink, please wear something pink at tomorrow's funeral mass. (Yes, even the guys!)
Funeral Mass
Mass: 10:00 am at St. Rita's Church
Interment Immediately following at Greenwood Memorial Park
