Zenaida Aida R Embuido

Zenaida Romero Embuido, 74, passed away on November 27, 2017. She was happily married to the late Andres N. Embuido (1/1/1943-7/23/2016), with whom she shared almost 50 years of marriage. She was born on January 6, 1943 in Cayucay, Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines. She was the youngest daughter of Hermogenes and Teodora Romero. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from Central Luzon School of Nursing and traveled to the US where she retired after 35 years of Nursing Profession from VA San Diego Healthcare System. She was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Mira Mesa. She enjoyed spending time with her children & grandchildren, traveling, shopping and "Living Life!" She will be remembered by her generosity, kindness, warm-heart, and her selfless dedication to his family and friends. She is survived by her children: Lorna (spouse, Ben), Philipp (spouse, Jodi), Gina (spouse, Joseph), and Andrew (spouse, Rusty), her ten grandchildren: Destine, Zeandre, Zachary, Alex, Samuel, Jolene, Benjamin, Xyrelle, Harry, and Bethany. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hermogenes and Teodora Romero, and her brother, Romeo Romero. Her surviving siblings are Lydia Laguisma and Eliseo Romero. The visitation will be held on December 9, 2016 at El Camino Memorial from 1 to 5pm (Novena prayer from 12-1pm) and on December 10 from 11am to 3pm (Novena prayer from 3-4pm). Her Funeral Mass will take place on December 13, 2016 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 9:45 a.m., and will be followed by a Commencement service at the Miramar National Cemetery promptly at 11 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m.
