Buddy, 82 was born in Arkansas in a small country town. He entered the 82nd Army Airborne in 1947 when he was 17 years old, his mother had to sign for him, honorably discharged in 1953. He was the second to the youngest in a family of 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
He was in the building trade for 55 years. He was an active member of the American Legion in Panorama City, Post 817 and the 20th district as Chaplain. Also a member of the Forty and Eighth and also a Mason.
He is survived by his son Ron and daughters Lavata, Kathy, Janet, Cindy and Ginger. Grandchildren are Timberly, Jason, Patricia, Hope, Johnny Jr., Marta, Cora, Eric, Jennifer, Jessica, Rachel, Sara, Samantha, Erin and Kayla. Great grandchildren are Anthony, Khyrsta, Kiel, Keegan, Kaytlin, Chloe, Alyana, Liseli, Annabel, Dyani and Killian.
Buddy was both a strong and a very kind man who loved family, friends, animals, and the great outdoors. He was a very caring and loving father who always was there for his kids making sure they always had everything needed, especially love. He knew lots of jokes that would magically pop out of his mouth when a certain situation would call for an appropriate joke. Anyone who ever knew him, will certainly deeply miss him.
