Hi my name is J. R. Larson. I worked with Buddy and Frank Garcia when we all worked for Nelson Potter my stepfather. We had some good times on the jobs and hunting and camping trips and parties. Buddy always made everything fun and the man knew more jokes than anybody. I remember him always with a toothpick. Always a pleasure to be around and great friend to have. Miss you Buddy

My condolences to Ron and family. I spent alot of time with Buddy his last few months.You Lucky Dog. He shared alot of stories with me. as he always would. We would watch some fishing shows. or history channel. Always would share a kiss with me when he came into the club he would say there's my honey kiss and say sugar. i cant begin to tell u how much he will be missed. He loved to eat have a great bowl of soup. If he wasn't there for a party on the phone i would go to call him. He will truly be missed by all. My condolences to all of Buddy's family.  I met Buddy at the American Legion, Post 817, Panorama City.  My Mother and I would go the the Legion and I would seat my Mother next to Buddy so that they could talk about the good old days growing up in Arkansas and all that good "southern cooking".  After my Mother died I continued to sit by Buddy at his special place in the bar area and we would talk for hours.  Buddy was always a true gentleman.  When I got ready to go home, he would walk me to my car, give me a kiss and tell me to "Walk in the Sunshine.  I know Buddy is with all his family and friends that went on before him, and now he is waiting for the rest of us to join him. I am sure we will see our Buddy again.  Until then, "Walk in the Sunshine" my friend.

All that I can say is I'll really miss him but I know that now he and Furby are reunited farewell Buddy. Chris.Gilbert American Legion Post 817.

My condolences to Buddy's family.  He was loved by all and will be missed.  The ladies of the Auxiliary tried to be there for him when he needed us.  The American Legion was his home and he didn't stray far from it.  We tried to make him confortable while there.  Rest in peace Buddy.

I don't remember a time when I didn't know Buddy.  He was my dad's baby brother and he was often talked about as if he had just stepped out.  I have fond memories of fishing, talking and working with Buddy many times over the years.  I especially enjoyed the fact that Buddy didn't feel the need to talk constantly while we were working or fishing.  I will miss him.

I first met Buddy when we all built Charles and Wilma's house. He was a good man and will be missed.

We would like to express our deepest condolences. I used to see Uncle Buddy from time to time when our family was visiting at Uncle Charles' house in Pocahontas. We'd went fishing sometimes and he and Dad would tell hunting and fishing stories from when they were kids. They'd talk about old Watch the dog and fun on Dody (sp?) creek. On more than one occasion, they served up fresh squirrel and gravy - for breakfast. I usually shied away from that dish but Uncle Buddy and Dad really dug in. Anyway, Uncle Buddy was always so cheerful and full of laughs. I loved to be around him. I think everybody in our family did.
