Concepcion Negrete

December 8, 1917 - February 22, 2012

Concepcion "Connie" Guevara Negrete was born to Agustin Guevara and Cresencia Jacobo Guevara in Rancho Sespe, Ventura County, CA.

Connie married the love of her life Pascual Arroyo Negrete, April 29, 1940 and moved to San Fernando, CA in Los Angeles County, where they resided for 15 years. In 1955 Connie and Pascual moved with their family to Pacoima, CA where they lived for 57 years until her passing away from natural causes.

Connie is survived by her husband of 72 years and 10 months, Pascual; five children, George Negrete (Lupe), Rosemarie Michel (George), Joyce Navarro, Margaret Duran (Jess), and Sylvia Rodriguez Dominguez (Richard). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 35 great granchildren and nine great-great grandchildren; all of whom loved her and will miss their "Nana" very much.

Connie worked for the LAUSD, retiring with 37 years of service.
