Elvira Mendez

Elvira Mendez was born on April 20, 1913 in Guatemala to her mother Victoria Cabrerra and her father Salome Mendez. Elvira passed away in California on April 20, 2014 at the age of 101 years old. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel J.T. Oswald, San Fernando, CA. A private viewing for immediate family only will take place at the mortuary chapel on Monday April 28, 2014 from 3-4:00 p.m. and an open viewing for other family and friends from 4-8:30 p.m. A rosary will take place at 7:00 p.m. that same night. A funeral service is scheduled to take place on Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Saint Didacus Catholic Church in Sylmar at 11:00 a.m. with a burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills where Elvira will be placed to rest. Elvira Mendez will be missed by all her family and friends whom loved her very much.
