

He passed away at his home in Oxnard, California after a difficult physical battle against a debilitating illness.
Wesley enjoyed playing baseball and loved participating in the local Cub Scouts as a youth. He played Pop Warner Football and was able to play in a playoff game at El Paso Sun Bowl. He was also a member of the civil air Patrol.
During his high school years, he enjoyed swimming, shot put, discus and weight lifting. Wesley always excelled in sports and loved using his hands in shop and woodworking. He was a life guard and enjoyed teaching children how to swim. He graduated in 1995 from Artesia High School in Artesia, New Mexico.
He studied Psychology and History in college, where he met and fell in love with Trinidad Navarette. they were married on December 22, 2005 in San Fernando, California.
In his adult life he enjoyed reading video games, watching movies, music and playing with his children.
He was a welder for 15 years at various companies. His favorite and happiest welding job was for Fred Baier Designs in Tucson, Arizona.
He was politically minded, always supporting the Republican Party while staying very current with what was happening in our world.
He is survived by his mom Deborah, his daddy Jim Smalley, his wife Trinidad, sons, Thomas Jezreel and Jesus Taylor Madden, and daughter Nichelle Ashley Quinn Rainey.
He also leaves his sister Sherry Lynn Parsons and brothers, Charles Andrew Hale and Kenneth Smalley, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his grandparents, Andy Melvin Adams and Cora Lee Ponder of Jal, NM.
Wesley was a born-again Christian since 1997. He was baptized at Faith Baptist Church in Artesia, New Mexico by Pastor Mike Elliott.
