Sorry for the late message as I just heard the terrible news. I am in shock. I will miss Alan. My deepest sympathies to Rachel and the entire family. He will be missed.

Best wishes and heartfelt condolences to the entire Wong Family. I will always remember and treasure the fun evening we had in Maui on Christmas Eve 2018. I really enjoyed seeing my mom with your parents.

I came t o America from Hong Kong a young and ignorant girl, Rachel and Alan picked me up at the San Francisco pier and helped me to navigate and settle in this new land. Alan introduced me to my first  grilled cheese sandwich and my first juicy, bloody medium raw steak. Those are still my favorite food. Though out the years, although we do not always stay in the same state, it is a comfort to know that I have a big brother only a phone call away.  My father might never say it out loud, I know he was very proud of Alan, and my mother, she was happy whenever Alan was happy.                                 I deeply appreciate that Alan and Jo came to visit when Richard passed away. We will miss Alan's kind and gentle face, but his love will always stay in our hearts.                                                            Lily Liu

I've had a chance this past year to develop a closer relationship with Alan's son, Joseph this past year.   Joseph would often tell me about his time with his dad.  How Alan would regularly ground him (not like a little kid who was naughty) on what mattered about the McDonald's business and life.

Alan leaves a great legacy through his son and grand kids.  Will miss his humble and friendly presence.  Loving wishes to the entire Wong family.
