Benedyne was born in Honolulu and met her husband the late David Kim while visiting San Francisco in the 1950s. She passed away surrounded by her devoted family. She is survived by her children, Percy John (Alice) Kim and Nadyne Kealaokopono (Lonny) Orona, grandchildren Olivia Naukana (Fred) Quinn, Justin David Kim, Christopher Keoni Sotto and Kevin Michael Sotto, great-grandchildren Sophia Kealaokopono Sotto, Mia Leilani Quinn, Austin Kekoa Sotto and Hunter Kapono Quinn. She was beloved by all her family & friends She enjoyed life, people, her family, friends and her dear friends at On Lok. Please join her family to celebrate her life on Monday, December 7th at 9:00am at Halsted N. Gray - Carew & English Funeral Home, 1123 Sutter St, San Francisco.
