In San Francisco, Billie Rooker, spouse of the late Ralph Rooker and mother of Randall Rooker. Billie, born and raised in SF, CA, along with her sister, Becky (David) Tom, and her brothers Robert (Pauline) and Ben (d.Victoria) Chuck. Her parents were the late Albert and Jang Shee Chuck of SF, CA. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Dennis (Eva), Leslie (Cathy), Terence, and Gregory Chuck.
Billie attended St. Mary’s Mission Elementary School and Polytechnic High School. She did secretarial work for Metropolitan Insurance and Lawton Elementary School in San Francisco.
Billie was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and their legendary quarterback, Joe Montana. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with friends and taking trips to Reno, NV where she loved to try her luck on the slot machines.
A memorial service will be held at Halsted N Gray-Carew & English, 1123 Sutter St., SF, CA on Sunday, March 11th, 2 p.m. Donations in her honor can be made to the American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
