

Budd Weed, formerly of Lake Forest, Illinois, passed away in San Francisco on August 30th. He was 81 years old. Proceeded in death by his wife Ginny Weed, who he missed with all of his heart every day they were apart and survived by his daughters Jennifer Lambert Weed (Ian Bardecki) of San Francisco and Claudia Lee Haas (Chuck) of Cincinnati, OH, a grandson, Michael Lambert Haas also of Cincinnati, his sister Nance (Ron) Thomas of Angola, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
Budd was a veteran of the Korean War who was in active duty from 1952-1954 and in the Reserves until 1961.
Budd was in Human Resources his entire career spanning over 40 years. During his career he resolved labor disputes, assisted employees in the recovery process after natural disasters and created good work environments for people to come to each day.
Budd was a gentleman who loved antique cars (specifically he was a "Chevy Guy") and auto touring. He was interested in every person he met. He loved animals, music and a good meal.
He will be missed very much, but his family finds comfort in knowing he has been reunited with the love of his life.
