It has been five years since you have passed to heaven Deb but I have not forgotten. I still remember you and always will, we will meet again someday on the other side and we can talk all the fun and bad times we had together OK. I have been searching for you for years.  Your mom Patricia and my father were half siblings, but never met.  I do my Genealogy and for years wondered if you were around.  Today I found this site and my heart sunk.  I am so sadden to hear you struggled all alone living in the streets in CA.  I pray you are at peace and wish we could have met.

Debbie, my niece & Goddaughter, you would take my girls ice skating in the winter when I could’nt.  Thank you ! I love you.

I helped Debbie find housing in San Francisco.  She had moved from New York, had no one, and was sleeping on the streets.
She was not well.  Debbie was the homeless lady I adopted and finally saw living in housing after moving her several times.  She was also a big help to me at the Mayor's office.  Governor Newsom now.
If alive she would be helping with the recall too. Instead an Angel.
I just saw this today.  My heart is heavy.  She was alone. Alone. 
I am writing my story about that time and will honor her memory.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Debbie.  My fondest memories are when I was young and she would come to visit.  I so remember when she came to tell us she was going to California and we joked about the song, Im leaving on a Jet Plane.  Any time I hear it I always think of Debbie!  I love you cuz .  ❤️🙏
