Dear Auntie Dorothy: Edith and I will miss you very much. Thank you for taking care of me, my brothers, and especially Graham when we were as small and wide-eyed as you and your siblings were in the photos below. Your wit, humor and your acute observations about people and their foibles will be missed at our family gatherings. Rest in peace knowing that you and Uncle Bill have blessed us with Karen, Pat and the kids. Garrett and Edith

Auntie Dorothy, I wish we could've seen you one more time to let you know how kind, caring, and thoughtful you always were. And to let you know that no one will ever be able to replace that quick wit and cheeky smile of yours.

We're incredibly blessed to have spent time with you here. But we're glad you'll be in good hands above and reunited with Grandma Marty and Uncle Bill. You will be missed dearly!

It was quite the pleasure getting to know you these last few years. I will never forget how you treated me with such kindness and generosity every single time we would be together. I will miss taking you out for your favorite Banh Mi and Chinese meals, but you will forever have made an impact on me despite the short time we knew each other. Thank you for making it feel like I was one of your own. May you Rest In Peace :)

Are your ears burning, Auntie Dorothy? The conversation between Grandma Helen and me last night was about the days when you clowned around with Ranny and Darold and your careful selection of clothes and hairstyle 🤗. It’s no surprise your witty quips were the life of the party.

My favorite memories of Auntie Dorothy are the Thanksgivings and Christmases spent sitting at the kids table together. She always had a memory to share and a joke to crack. I admired her wit, her generosity and her Spanish skills. I'm so incredibly grateful for the time that we got to spend with Auntie Dorothy - she will be missed.

Auntie Dorothy was an amazing person. She was caring, loving, thoughtful, generous, and funny, just to name some of her many great attributes.

Auntie Dorothy will always be one of our favorites. I am so lucky that she lived in San Francisco, so we got to see her every time we went back to CA for the summer. Connor enjoyed seeing Auntie “Dofu” and then recently since he started being able to say Dorothy, she told him to call her “Granny Joe”, like her grandchildren do. It was so nice how she always thought of us and loved us like her own. She would always make a trip out to the Giants store to get Connor something fun, and even when she stopped driving, she would ask someone to take her. She was always so thoughtful!

Auntie Dorothy will always be loved and remembered for the amazing and witty woman she was.

May you Rest In Peace. We love you!!

We will miss you, Auntie Dorothy, but are so glad that you are now at peace with Uncle Bill and your siblings. You certainly were a dapper group! You are very special to us and we always enjoyed being you and having you share your sense of humor with us. You were always such a sharp lady! Wish we could have visited you more recently but will always keep you dear in our hearts.
