1918-2012
Born in Lucca, Italy, Elsa was the driving force behind the family coming to America after WWII. She and her late husband, Willie, worked tirelessly to provide for their children, Guido and Maria, doing whatever it took to ensure everyone's future. Elsa was a true and loving matriarch - the undisputed center of her extended family.
Elsa is survived by her son Guido Piccinini and his wife, Rebecca Schumacher; her daughter, Maria Heeren and her husband, George; her grandchildren Steven, Alan and Alessia Piccinini and David and Krista Heeren; her grandchildren, Giovanni Piccinini and Salina Eppinger.
Viewing and rosary 7PM Wed. April 18th at Halsted N. Gray – Carew & English, 1123 Sutter Street. Funeral Mass 10:30AM Thurs. April 19th at Saints Peter & Paul in North Beach. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to KQED or St. Anthony's Foundation.
