Eric J Guarisco

It is with great sadness and love that I share the passing of my wonderful husband Eric J. Guarisco. Eric passed away after a battle with an aggressive cancer on July 24, 2026. Eric met his final days with courage and grace. There is much to share regarding his unyielding kindness and sacredness of time.

Eric is the beloved husband of Lauren OBrien-Guarisco.

Eric is survived by his brother William (Patty) Guarisco, sisters Elise (Chuck) Thomas, Janette (Charlie) Scott, Sue (John) DeSantis, and Marcia (Tom) Standley; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eric was the son of the late Dr. Joseph Guarisco and Agnes Guarisco. Eric grew up in the idyllic town of Greenwich, Connecticut just outside of New York City. Eric spent his wonder years exploring the Pinetum just outside his back door.

Eric had several careers using his innate abilities of analysis and passion for art. Eric worked at GE as a mechanical engineer until deciding to pursue his love of photography full time. As his second act, Eric built a successful business as a wedding and event photographer.

Eric's legacy of unwavering kindness and joy of life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
