Evelyn "Lola" Bugatto

Evelyn "Lola" Bugatto passed away peacefully on September 19, 2016. Lola was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. Lola moved to the United States with a few close friends and eventually settled in the Bay Area. Lola spent several years as a nurse at Sequoia Hospital. She met her husband Bob Bugatto in the late 1980's and they were married in the early 1990's. Lola and Bob enjoyed the time they spent at their cottage in Bodega Bay. After Bob's passing, Lola enjoyed travelling and spending time with friends whom she visited in Dublin, Ireland and Perth, Australia. Lola also enjoyed attending the San Francisco Opera and participating in events at the San Francisco Metropolitan Club. In recent years, Lola supported the Saint Francis Foundation which honored her with the naming of The Bob and Lola Bugatto Infusion Center.

A special thanks to all of Lola's friends who were there for her as she battled Lymphoma over the past few years and to her remarkable caregivers, especially Gabriella and Anita, who were always by her side.

A funeral mass will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 666 Filbert Street, on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA.
