Frank Peter Antonini Jr.

Our dear father passed away peacefully at the age of 91. Frank was a native and lifelong San Franciscan. His Swiss Italian parents had settled in the city after making their way to America in the 1920s.

Frank attended Saints Peter and Paul grammar school and Sacred Heart High School where he graduated in 1947 as student body president. He then attended Santa Clara University where he graduated with a degree in Engineering. During college he met the love of his life Gerry on the tennis courts of Funston playground in the Marina district of the city. In 1952 they married and raised their family in the Marina. Frank was not only loved by his peers but also by the many friends of all of his children.

He was a wonderful artist and a lover of music. He had an infectious laugh, great sense of humor, and a joy for life that will be missed dearly.

He is survived by Lynne (Dan), Kenneth and son Cristian, Robert (Chris) and children Frank, John, Victoria and Francesca, Stephanie (Geoffrey) and children Michael, John and Kelly.
