Since 1950, George and I spent many days at the bakery with all and our travels to Mexico were very special. He was a dear friend to me and it brought tears to my heart knowing that he is no longer with us.

Dear Soracco family,
My thoughts and prayers go out  to the family. Many found memories growing up in North Beach and Mr Soracco being one of them. One quick story   I would sneak out during recess from Salesians to get a quick fix of the delicious pizza. Mr Soracco would be in the back baking away surprised in seeing me there at the bakery when at should be on school property He told me that he won't tell Sister Anita or my parents for cutting out but you need to be responsible and learn as much as you can  everyday in class. Looking back it was a life lessoned  learned

Our thoughts and prayers to the Soracco family on the loss of their Patriarch.  I remember seeing Mr. Soracco at the bakery....hard working...passionate in his work and love for his family. A big part of my childhood at Salesians was the smell and taste of the best focaccia bread in town.  Rest in Peace, Mr. Soracco...thank you for being a big part of North Beach & San Francisco.

Jo, Mike, Mary& Danny,  What can I say about Mr Soracco's passing?  He was a legend in North Beach.  We have to cherish all the memories.  they will always and forever be in our hearts.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr.Soracco's passing.I remember as a kid seeing him walk down Stockton St.to his home after working at the Bakery with always a smile on his face.He was such a sweet & wonderful man.My condolence's to the Soracco Family.
