Died peacefully at home with her sister and brother-in-law by her side. Born December 21, 1935 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, moved to San Francisco in 1960 and worked for American Airlines in various positions for 50 years. A graduate of USF in Business Administration. A member of SF Women in Travel and a volunteer at KQED. She is survived by her sister, Elvira and brother-in-law, Myron Miner of Seattle WA; her "Spiritual Sister" Peggy Hollitz of Sun Valley, ID and her sons, Ryan and Shawn Hollitz of Oregon and New York, as well as her canine buddies, Romi and Bella Lechich of San Francisco. Gizella will alaways be remembered for her kindness, generosity and sweet personality.
Friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. Teresa's Church Hall on Potrero Hill, 1940 19th St., at Connecticut St., 1 PM. In her memory, donations can be made to San Francisco SPCA.
